==Totally Inappropriate Block==
Admin Glen S has made a totally inapprobriate block here. Please Unblock. There are Two very good reasons. 1- The users are not the same and 2-Just as Important the reason given was evading of block! But the the previous block of 31 hours had already EXPIRED!! 3- As far as I know users do not always choose their ISP address so it wouldn't be intentional (this is moot since these two people are not sock puppets)
Please see time diff: (over 31 hours had pasted even for the sake of argument it was the same IP address user which it clearly was not) ] ] Please unblock User 119.60 and notify/Warn User:Glen_S of his terrible mistake. Thanks
I have reason to believe that Glen_S's block of this user therefore was a pretext and possible racially motivated for attempted contributions to the Michael Richards article, which would be a is a serious violation of WP. Thank you. 71.111.117.65
I keep getting blanked and reverted by User:NetScott also from my userpage and and ANI page. Please warn or block him him.
Thanks | |||

Oh da yum!
Hi! I took the liberty of putting your new entry over on the unusual articles page. Might go well with that Vietnamese rice wine with the whole pickled cobra in it. Bon appetit! - Lucky 6.9 17:01, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you, that was quite fast. :-) --BorgQueen 17:10, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
I've put it up for Did You Know. Good find, BQ. —Bunchofgrapes (talk) 02:09, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
Fried spider
Interesting article. Is there any chance of a picture to go along with it so we can use it on Template:Did you know? (The image I mean) I would feature the article anyway, but I'd like to see a pic too) - Mgm| 10:48, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
- Very neat article. Would make a great DYK -- Samir धर्म 10:50, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
- Hmm, I've added an image — I hope Creative Commons 2.0 is ok? --BorgQueen 12:17, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
- It is... but not Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.0, which is... We can't take the non-commercial, and you're listing the wrong tag in the image page. —Bunchofgrapes (talk) 14:42, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
- Sigh. --BorgQueen 14:51, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
- Officious, ain't I? Oh well, no harm done... I'm pretty sure Flickr doesn't have any commercial-use Creative Commons Skuon spider pics (a surprising number of all-rights-reserved one though!). We could try writing to people and seeing if anyone would be willing to relicense... probably wouldn't happen in time for DYK though. —Bunchofgrapes (talk) 15:00, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

On 13 September, 2006, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article fried spiders, which you created. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the "Did you know?" talk page. |
68.40.119.153's block
I'm curious why you gave 68.40.119.153 a 24 hour block. I looked at his contributions, and although they aren't exactly helpful, it seems more like he might have been trying to make good faith edits, and it doesn't look much like vandalism to me. He didn't violate 3RR either, so a 24 hour block seems a bit harsh in my opinion. If you still think it's worth that long of a block, then OK but I just thought I'd mention it. (Note that I have no connection with that IP address — I just saw his contributions to Coca-Cola because I have that page on my watchlist.) Philbert 00:48, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
- Unblocked for now. Please keep an eye to see if the IP user makes disruptive edits again. --BorgQueen 00:51, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
Thanks
Thanks for your timely revert to that sub page of mine, it appears to be the same person (looking at the ip range) so I've protected it in the hope they'll find a better use for their time. --Alf 17:05, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

Hey, as I'm sure you've noticed, Antichthon and counter-Earth have been seperated again. Please visit the talk pages to express support for this re-merger. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mrwuggs (talk • contribs)
Blocking 209.12.109.140
This user has only made one recent edit, and I can't even prove it was wrong... but looking at the contributions made by this user, I've yet to find one which _wasn't_ vandalism. Worse, they appear to be quite subtle vandalism which can't be picked up by a bot, they require someone to be really paying attention to notice. The user has been blocked four times already, most recently by yourself. Can I suggest they be considered for another longterm block (again) if they add any more hard to pick up errors?
--Merlinme 14:37, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
- Let's wait till the user makes more blatant edits. I don't think just one subtle disruptive edit warrants a longer block, but if they continue this behavior they will be blocked. --BorgQueen 14:53, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
Anonymous users
Looking at the edit history for the article Jolly Roger, ], one can see a number of acts of vandalism by three anonymous users with very similar IP addresses: 72.159.133.25, 72.159.133.22, and 72.159.133.21. Is it possible to determine if these three IPs all direct to the same person? All have received multiple warnings for vandalism, and two have been blocked for same. If we can determine that all three are actually the same person, can said IPs be blocked, given that they are vandalism-only accounts? Thank you for your time and attention. ---Charles 20:29, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
- Well yes, it appears to be one user using a range of IP. But I am not sure if they can be called "vandalism-only accounts" since they do not have accounts in the first place. If you meant all edits from the IPs are vandalism so if they can be blocked longer, I would start with 24 hour anonymous only block and if the IP range vandalism persists they will be given longer blocks. I will have the article on my watchlist. --BorgQueen 20:41, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for your attention on this. ---Charles 21:53, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
I am not sure if 195.195.239.215 is a network or shared computer, but there has been some vandilism from that computer. Just to let you known.
- Vandalism from 168.11.60.250: very bad.
- Vandalism from 212.44.58.228
- Vandalism from 86.1.104.159 & 65.114.5.2
Hello
Hello. Please excuse my ignorance. Are you a moderator? I saw your warning on a web page for someone who messed up the Mercury page. Is it not possible to ban him? Why would anybody do this? Why do you let them? Rosejpalmer 05:19, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
- The user has already been blocked indef as a vandal account. --BorgQueen 07:58, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
- I forgot to answer that cute question "Why would anybody do this?". Well it depends on each vandal, but my opinion is that most chronic vandals are attention whores who happen to have found their little show stage here. --BorgQueen 17:45, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

Is ko:분류:영국의 밴드 the corresponsing category to Category:English musical groups? --Botley Crew 09:22, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
- "영국의 밴드" means "British groups", so the answer is yes. --BorgQueen 11:49, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

Block on User:YoGabbaGabba
Hi BorgQueen, thanks for the indef block on User:YoGabbaGabba, I was about to do the same myself. One small thought: could I remind you to put a {{test7}} tag on the user';s talk page after an indef block? It educates the user and helps other admins such as myself? A {{indefblocked}} on the user page is useful too. Thanks, Gwernol 18:18, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
- Useful templates, indeed. Taken care of. --BorgQueen 18:34, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

Jerky (food) article dispute
Hello. If you get a chance, could you please stop by the Jerky article and help resolve a dispute regarding proper WP:External links. The relevant discussion is at Talk:Jerky (food)#Recipes, and I am seeking third party opinions since another user and I seem to be at an impasse. I am sending this to all editors who have recently edited the article or its talk page. Thanks so much for your time, Satori Son 17:26, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
Images Of Singers
I've found pictures of the singers on Innosense, on the official website. However, For each individual member's picture is only a headshot not much bigger than a typical avatar. Can/should I still upload them for use on their respective pages? (Images are here: .) -WarthogDemon 01:54, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
