===] crusade of the fortnight or so===
====Current: "fortunately"====
*It is always POV, and never appropriate or useful, to denote that something is "fortunate" or "unfortunate". They're next...
*Clarification: Yes, it even expresses a point of view to say that "fortunately, no one died." Although it is pretty much a universal sentiment, it's not an objective one, and thus has no place in a laying-out of factual matter. We can all draw our own conclusions from "no one died" just the same.

====Old one: "It should be noted"====
*Vanquish the phrase "it should be noted that" from our lexicon. (1) it's totally redundant in all its uses, and (2) presumably, everything worth including in a Misplaced Pages article "should be noted". Questions? To the ] with you!
*Note: I am, of course, trying to preserve its usage within direct quotes and in any case where it seems grammatically necessary. Feel free to revert me and/or leave a note if you think that's necessary. Completed 02:31, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
