Fossil Ridge High School is a secondary school located in north Fort Worth, Texas. It is the second high school of the Keller Independent School District. The original building for the school was built in 1995 for 9th and 10th graders, but followed with an expansion in 1997 to 1998 that was open to 11th and 12th graders as well.

The current principal of the school is Todd Tunnell. Assistant principals include Dustin Blank, Todd Lacey, Rachel Roberts, Anna King, and Sandy Troudt.

The school mascot is a panther and the school colors are black and gold. Its crossdistrict rival is Keller High School and the two schools compete annually in various events but most notably, the annual football game/canned food drive. The Panthers play at the Keller Sports Complex, which includes an artificial turf field, and sits directly across the street from Keller High School. There has been speculation of a newer sports complex possibly to be built between Fossil Ridge and the newest school to the district, Central High School. The school also contains a theater, two gymnasiums, a library, and a cafeteria. The majority of Fossil Hill Middle School, and a partial amount of students from Trinity Springs Middle School students feed into Fossil Ridge High School.

The 05-06 Varsity Football Team

The current head coach of the football program at Fossil Ridge is Hal Wasson. Fossil Ridge currently has two Freshmen teams (Black and Gold), two Junior Varsity teams (Black and Gold), and a Varsity team.

The football team year annually competes in a rivalry football match against district rivals, Keller High School, in what is arguably considered one of the best high school rivalries in the DFW metroplex. Recently, the 2006 match-up received video coverage that was featured online from sources such as the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and KXAS NBC 5. Although in the past, where these matches usually had playoff stipulations on the line, recently they are now simply about bragging rights for the fact that Keller remains ranked at Class AAAAA while Fossil Ridge has dropped to Class AAAA for the 2006 and 2007 seasons. The current record between the two schools is 5-4 in Fossil Ridge's favor.

The Panthers are currently the 6-4A District Champions.
