Welcome, with a suggestion
Welcome to Misplaced Pages. Here are suggested readings: WP:SECONDARY and WP:TERTIARY. The gist of these guidelines is:
- Misplaced Pages prefers citations to reviews and books, not primary journal references (tens of thousands appear annually). Citing secondary sources is the encyclopedic style. My guess, Org Lett, just one of many specialized organic journals, publishes 500-1000 article per year. It is impossible for Misplaced Pages to cite them equitably, so we refrain, but strive to take the extra step of identifying reviews. If you have questions, many editors can offer advice. Happy editing.--Smokefoot (talk) 19:00, 16 January 2018 (UTC)
References
Thank you for contributing to Misplaced Pages. Remember that when adding content about health, please only use high-quality reliable sources as references. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations (There are several kinds of sources that discuss health: here is how the community classifies them and uses them). WP:MEDHOW walks you through editing step by step. A list of resources to help edit health content can be found here. The edit box has a built-in citation tool to easily format references based on the PMID or ISBN. We also provide style advice about the structure and content of medicine-related encyclopedia articles. The welcome page is another good place to learn about editing the encyclopedia. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a note. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 06:47, 2 February 2018 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for June 14
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Panaeolus tropicalis, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Hallucinogenic mushroom (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hello, I'm Wallyfromdilbert. I noticed that you recently removed content from Gab (social network) without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Misplaced Pages with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. The reference to an unpublished journal in that block of text that just restated same content as the published journal above said block of text - I do not support alt-right policies whatsoever but the repetition of content in these articles is annoying and wicks away validity of some important criticisms of the movement 69.125.160.200 (talk) 16:11, 7 August 2019 (UTC)
After you reverted I did a more precise edit that simply removes one low-quality source - We still have many higher quality sources affirming the connection between Gab and the alt-right!!!! Mfernflower (talk) 16:22, 7 August 2019 (UTC)
This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Misplaced Pages's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
