Haroon is a Pakistani singer born in London, to a New Zealander mother and Pakistani father. Haroon released his solo album Haroon ki Awaz ('Haroon's voice') in October 2000. His second album Lagan ('desire' or 'attachment') was released in September 2002. Haroon is known for the very classy mix in his songs. For example, in the song Mahbooba he adds some Arabic lyrics.
