'''Ghostfreak''' is an Ectonurite, a one-eyed ghost-like creature from the planet Anur Phaetos and is undeniably the best alien in the series Edward. Ectonurites normally wear a protective skin that condenses their form to resemble ghosts, their eye moving along a black track on that skin. Ectonurites can phase through matter, possess people, turn invisible and fly. They are stronger in darkness and can be weakened in sunlight to the point of death by combustion if not wearing their second skin. Ghostfreak was sampled from Zs'Skayr, an evil Ectonurite who added his genetic template into the Codon Stream. In ''Ultimate Alien'', Ghostfreak looks notably different from the original series, having white skin, a bigger eye, and the Ultimatrix moved to his chest from his left chest. In ''Omniverse'', Ghostfreak now has chains on his neck, wrists, shoulders, and tail. He is also much skinnier than he was before and does not seem to have the Zs'Skayr personality anymore. Ben 10 is an American media franchise created by Man of Action Studios and produced by Cartoon Network Studios. It revolves around a boy named Ben Tennyson who acquires a watch-like alien device, the Omnitrix, which allows him to transform into different alien creatures. The franchise consists primarily of five television series and four films, the latter of which aired between August 2007 and March 2012. The following is a list that includes the franchise's alien creatures, deeming its voice actor, main characteristics, and any other notable information.

Introduced in Ben 10 (2005)

This list includes the aliens who were introduced to the franchise through the 2005 original series.

Heatblast

Voiced by:

Heatblast is a Pyronite, an alien composed of a bright magma body covered by a reddish-brown charcoal-like crust. He is essentially "living magma", so everything he touches either melts or catches fire. In the original series, Heatblast is Ben's first alien transformation; Ben accidentally transformed into Heatblast in the first episode of the original series, “And Then There Were 10”, after trying to remove the Omnitrix when it first attached to him and accidentally caused a wildfire. In the original series episode “Side Effects”, Ben caught a cold, which temporarily gave Heatblast cryokinetic powers instead of his normal pyrokinetic abilities. Ben later regained access to Heatblast in the Ultimate Alien episode "Absolute Power" after Kevin absorbs the powers of the Pyronite-human hybrid Alan Albright and Ben regains Heatblast from Alan's Pyronite DNA.

16-year-old Heatblast made his Omniverse debut in "A Jolt From the Past" to chase Corvo, while 11-year-old Heatblast debuted in "Trouble Helix" to fight Malware. In Omniverse, his eyes are once again connected to the fire on his head, his shoulder plates are tilted upward, and he wears the Omnitrix symbol on his chest. His Dimension 23 counterpart (used by Ben 23) is known as Charcoal Man.

In the reboot, Heatblast's Omnitrix symbol is placed closer to his head, and he sounds more like a teenager rather than the deeper voice he had in previous incarnations. He can also transform into Omni-Enhanced Heatblast, gaining Shock Rock's rock armor on his upper body and shoulders while his hands and face turn blue. In this form, Heatblast can mix electricity into his fire and gains a grey rock jetpack which he can use to fly at high speeds.

For the fourth season of the reboot, it was confirmed at the New York Toy Fair that Ben will be able to convert Heatblast into Omni Kix Heatblast, a red and white armored variation of Heatblast with an arm mounted cannon.

Hot Shot

Voiced by:

Hot Shot is the Antitrix counterpart of Heatblast used by Kevin Eleven in the reboot. This version is significantly larger and has an olive green chest.

Wildmutt

Voiced by:

  • Dee Bradley Baker - Ben 10, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, Ben 10: Omniverse, Ben 10: Omniverse: Galactic Monsters
  • Tara Strong - Ben 10 (Dream in "Ghostfreaked Out")

Wildmutt is a Vulpimancer, a large dog-like creature native to the planet Vulpin which has no eyes or tail and uses echolocation, heightened smell, and thermographic neck gills to navigate. Wildmutt's porcupine-like quills supplement his sonar and can be used as projectiles or protect him while he is rolling. This ability is unique to adult Vulpimancers, and as Ben's version is only sixteen years old, these quills have not fully developed. However, in the future shown in "Ben 10,000" and "Ken 10”, he is fully grown, possesses adult Vulpimancer abilities, and has the Omnitrix symbol on his forehead.

Ben first transformed into Wildmutt in "And Then There Were 10" after his experimentation with the Omnitrix. In "Side Effects", when Ben caught a cold, he is unable to smell because his gills are clogged with mucus. Wildmutt's only speaking appearance was in a nightmare in "Ghostfreaked Out", when he tried to save a boy stuck in a tree and turned into Ghostfreak. In Ultimate Alien, Wildmutt's design was unchanged except for his lips being orange instead of black and the Ultimatrix symbol being on his chest. His first official appearance in Ultimate Alien was in "Prisoner #775 is Missing", where he was used to track the invisible alien prisoner.

In Omniverse, Wildmutt's design is mostly unchanged, and his Omnitrix symbol is on a green collar with white stripes. 16-year-old Wildmutt made his Omniverse debut in "Have I Got a Deal For You" to track down the Screegit, while 11-year-old Wildmutt debuted in "Evil's Encore" when he freed himself, Gwen, and Grandpa Max from a sack. His Dimension 23 counterpart is known as Dog-Nabbit.

Wildmutt was confirmed to exist in the reboot continuity, as the DNA pod representing him was one of fifteen revealed in a piece of leaked artwork. His appearance is unknown at the moment.

Ultimate Wildmutt

Voiced by: Dee Bradley Baker - Ben 10: Ultimate Alien

Ultimate Wildmutt debuted in "Prisoner #775 is Missing". Unlike the normal version of Wildmutt, he is capable of speech, and has maroon fur, bone-like fins on his back, and a spiked tail.

Diamondhead

Voiced by:

Diamondhead is a Petrosapien (coming from "petra", which means "rock", and "sapien", which means "intelligent being") from the planet Petropia. He is a silicon based alien, with a dense molecular structure that makes him practically invulnerable. Diamondhead can control his crystal physiology at will, allowing him to create crude crystal weapons, fire crystal shards from his hands, and have limited regenerative abilities. In addition to growing crystal from himself, Diamondhead can grow crystal over the ground. His crystal body acts as a prism that can refract light and energy beams. However, Diamondhead's crystal can shatter if exposed to strong sonic vibrations.

In "Ben 10,000" and "Ken 10", 30 and 42 year old Diamondhead's suit has changed, having black on the top and white pants, and the Omnitrix symbol now being on his chest.

Ben first transformed into Diamondhead to destroy Vilgax's giant robot sent to retrieve the Omnitrix in "And Then There Were 10". In the planning stages of the show, Diamondhead was supposed to be one of the aliens beyond the original ten aliens, while Cannonbolt would have been one of the original ten aliens.

Diamondhead was regained after Vilgax destroyed Chromastone in the Alien Force episode "Vengeance of Vilgax". The color of his crystals is changed slightly and he doesn't wear any clothes. Instead he has the Omnitrix symbol located on his chest, and now has green eyes. Diamondhead made his Ultimate Alien debut in "Basic Training" to defeat Brannigan, with no difference from his Alien Force design.

In Omniverse, 16 year old Diamondhead has a black shirt with a green stripe in the middle, black pants, and the Omnitrix symbol on their belt. Diamondhead made his Omniverse debut in "It Was Them" to fight Slamworm, while 11 year-old Diamondhead made his debut in "Trouble Helix" to fight Malware.

In the reboot, Diamondhead is slimmer, the spike on his head is now at an angle, he wears a black bodysuit with a pointed yellow line, and the Omnitrix symbol is located on his chest. In this incarnation, Diamondhead is of the war-like Subsapien offshoot who are manipulated by another Petropian species known as the Antrosapiens into fighting the Petrosapiens. Diamondhead later gains the ability to become Omni-Enhanced Diamondhead with Shock Rock's armor forming around his torso, shoulders, head, and arms. He retains his crystallokinesis, but also gains the ability to absorb energy.

Crystal Fist

Voiced by:

Crystal Fist is the Antitrix counterpart of Diamondhead, resembling a vicious Subsapien made of black crystal instead of teal. His first appearance was in the episode "Franken Fight".

XLR8

Voiced by:

XLR8 (pronounced "accelerate") is a Kineceleran, a blue dinosaur-like alien from the planet Kinet. He can manipulate friction to move faster than lightning, climb up walls, run on water, easily come to a dead stop on most surfaces, and create tornadoes by running in a small circle or spinning. Ben first transformed into XLR8 in the first episode of the original series "And Then There Were 10" when he used the Omnitrix to get revenge on Cash and JT, the bullies he fought with earlier in the episode.

In Omniverse, 16 year old XLR8 has a green chest instead of white, and he has three blue stripes on his tail, 11 year old XLR8 appears the same as the original series but is shorter, and his neck is white; he made his Omniverse debut in "Trouble Helix" when Ben was stuck as XLR8 until Azmuth reverted him to human. 16 year old XLR8 made his debut in "Hot Stretch" to play street hockey with Ester and her Kineceleran friends. His Dimension 23 counterpart is known as Speedyquick (voiced by Yuri Lowenthal).

In the reboot series, his chest is now dark blue, he has two shark-like fins on his back, and he has two claws on his hands. He later gains the ability to become Omni-Enhanced XLR8; in this form, he can move at faster speeds and charge his tail with electricity, allowing him to slice through solid rock.

Rush

Voiced by:

Rush is the Antitrix counterpart of XLR8, first appearing in "Introducing Kevin 11". This version is depicted being green and covered in silver armor.

Grey Matter

Voiced by:

Grey Matter is a Galvan from the planet Galvan Prime, a gray frog-like alien that is five inches tall. The Galvans are a highly intelligent race responsible for many of the technologies shown in the series, including the Omnitrix, the Null Void Projector, the Null Void, their planet, Galvan Mark II (since the Highbreed destroyed their original homeworld, Galvan Prime, in the Alien Force episode "War of the Worlds"), and the Galvanic Mechamorphs (Upgrade's species). The most notable Galvan is Azmuth, the creator of the Null Void and the Omnitrix. He claims to be the most intelligent being in at least three galaxies.

Ben expresses a dislike in becoming Grey Matter due to his small size. A running gag throughout the franchise is that he is often accessed when Ben wants a large, powerful alien. However, as Grey Matter, Ben gains a Galvan's intellect and becomes able to outwit larger enemies, create almost anything from spare parts, and deduce the function of any device at a glance. Grey Matter's size allows him to squeeze into small spaces and climb walls due to tiny suction cups on his skin; his slimy skin makes him difficult to grab. Though his small size has its advantages, it can become a disadvantage whenever the Omnitrix times out, resulting in the much larger Ben getting stuck.

Ben first intentionally transformed into Grey Matter to search for a rare Sumo Slammer Trading Card in cereal boxes in "Washington B.C.". In Omniverse, Grey Matter's jumpsuit is now green with a belt and a pair of gloves, and the stripe on his head is now gone. 11 year old Grey Matter's appearance is the same as the original series, but his bodysuit reaches up to his neckline, which is now black. His Dimension 23 counterpart is known as Brainfrog (voiced by Eric Bauza).

In the reboot, his appearance is the same as the original series, but his bodysuit is once again green, and he has reddish-orange eyes. He later gains the ability to become Omni-Enhanced Grey Matter, wearing Shock Rock's armor like a mech suit kept together by blue plasma.

Dark Matter

Voiced by:

Dark Matter is the Antitrix counterpart of Grey Matter. He is much larger than Gray Matter, standing as high as Four Arms, and can use flames that coat what they touch in red crystal.

Four Arms

Voiced by:

  • Richard McGonagle - Ben 10
  • Michael Reisz - Ben 10 (As Kevin in "Kevin 11")
  • Charlie Schlatter - Ben 10 (As Kevin in "Framed")
  • Vanessa Marshall - Ben 10 (As Gwen in "Gwen 10")
  • Steven Blum - Ben 10 (As 4-year-old Ben in "Don't Drink the Water")
  • Dee Bradley Baker - Ben 10: Ultimate Alien
  • John DiMaggio - Ben 10: Ultimate Alien (As 10-year-old Ben in "The Forge of Creation"), Ben 10: Omniverse, Ben 10: Omniverse: Galactic Monsters, Ben 10 (Reboot)
  • Michael Emerson - Ben 10: Ultimate Alien (As Alpha in "Ben 10 / Generator Rex: Heroes United")
  • Montserrat Hernandez - Ben 10 (Reboot) (As Gwen in Ben's body in "Freaky Gwen Ben")
  • Gunnar Sizemore - Ben 10 (Reboot) (As Billy Billions in "Ben Again and Again")

Four Arms is a Tetramand, a red-skinned 12-foot-tall powerhouse from the desert planet Khoros. He has an extremely dense musculature, making him unmatched in pure physical strength; however, he is slow and unable to use things normally used by smaller life forms. Ben first transformed into Four Arms to fight the giant reanimated woolly mammoth in "Washington B.C.".

Using Four Arms' strength, Ben can create shock waves by pounding the ground or clapping all four of his hands together, and his leg strength allows him to cross entire city blocks in a single jump. When under the effects of an illness in the episode “Side Effects”, his strength and stamina are somewhat lessened and he develops pungent armpit hives.

Four Arms reappeared in Ultimate Alien, having an wrestler-like appearance. He now has golden bracelets, a ponytail, two gold sashes that cross over his trunk with the Ultimatrix symbol on the center of his chest, and green eyes instead of yellow. Four Arms is used in Ultimate Alien for the first time in "Video Games" in a fight with Ssserpent.

In Omniverse, 16-year-old Four Arms' design resembles a moustached muscleman, and the Omnitrix symbol is located in his belt. 16-year-old Four Arms made his Omniverse debut in "Many Happy Returns" to fight Princess Looma, while 11-year-old Four Arms debuted in "The More Things Change" to fight Malware. In "Game Over", Four Arms has a pirate style hat and wrestler-like clothing; the Omnitrix symbol is now on his hat. His Dimension 23 counterpart (used by Ben 23) is known as Handy Man (voiced by John DiMaggio).

In the reboot, his appearance is similar to his original series incarnation, but his gloves now cover his hands. He later gains the ability to become Omni-Enhanced Four Arms, with Shock Rock's helmet and armor covering his upper chest and shoulders. In this form, he has four blue hands, one pair of which replaces his upper arms, giving him six arms in total.

Quad Smack

Voiced By:

Quad Smack is the Antitrix counterpart of Four Arms, who first appeared in "Four by Four". This version is purple colored instead of red and wears spiked orange armor.

Stinkfly

Voiced by:

  • Dee Bradley Baker - Ben 10, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, Ben 10: Omniverse
  • Charlie Schlatter - Ben 10 (As Kevin in "Framed")
  • Greg Cipes - Ben 10 (Reboot)
  • Montserrat Hernandez - Ben 10 (Reboot) (As Gwen in "Innervasion Part 5: High Override")

Stinkfly is a Lepidopterran from the swamp planet Lepidopterra. Lepidopterrans can fly with high mobility and speed and have four eye stalks that let them shoot a toxic slime; younger members of the species emit herbicidal gaes via flatulence. If Stinkfly's wings get wet, he will be unable to fly.

Ben first transformed into Stinkfly in "Washington B.C.", when he had to defeat Dr. Animo and save Gwen after a mutant cockatiel kidnapped her and she fell from the Washington Monument. Since then, Stinkfly has been among Ben's favorite flying aliens. In "Ben 10,000" Stinkfly has less white on his suit, his stinger is now white, his eyes now have pupils and his legs are now thicker. In Ultimate Alien, Stinkfly's eye color changed from orange to green, his hands are green instead of black, his teeth are white instead of green, and he now has the Ultimatrix symbol on his chest.

In Omniverse, 16-year-old Stinkfly's face and pupiled eyes are green and he has larger wings and a dark green suit. The younger version of Stinkfly reappears in "A Jolt from the Past", and the current version is reintroduced in "Of Predators and Prey". His Dimension 23 counterpart (used by Ben 23) is known as Big Bug (voiced by Dee Bradley Baker).

In the reboot, Stinkfly is redesigned as a humanoid blue dragonfly with compound eyes, able to fire his goo and gas from his collarbones or shoulders. He can also become Omni-Enhanced Stinkfly with Shock Rock's gray rock armor on his chest and shoulders, along with a horned helmet and light blue wings.

Skunkmoth

Voiced by:

Skunkmoth is the Antitrix version of Stinkfly, who first appeared in "Introducing Kevin 11". He is similar to the reboot version of Stinkfly, but is significantly larger and is covered in a golden shell, much like a beetle.

Ripjaws

Voiced by:

Ripjaws is a Piscciss Volann, a fish-like alien from Piscciss, a world made of 98% water with solid matter only at its core. Piscciss Volanns have many variations but share a luminescent dangle and an ability to withstand increased amounts of pressure and swim at great speeds. They are also voracious eaters, able to unhinge their jaws to bite into much larger objects and even rip through steel.

First transforming into Ripjaws to take the Krakken's eggs back from Jonah Melville in "The Krakken", Ben does not rely solely on this form due to the fact that Ripjaws needs to stay hydrated, drying quickly if not in the water. This, alongside heat exhaustion, appears to be his main weakness. In Ultimate Alien, Ben regains access to the form in "Perplexahedron" to escape from a water trap. This version of Ripjaws is catfish-like with the Ultimatrix symbol in the center of his chest, larger claws, and a smaller bioluminescent lure.

In Omniverse, 11-year-old Ripjaws has no eyebrows, his tail is bigger, he has black clothing around his left shoulder, and the Omnitrix symbol is on his left chest. His 16-year-old appearance has a belt with the Omnitrix symbol on it.

Ripjaws has been confirmed to exist in the reboot, as the DNA pod representing him was one of fifteen revealed in a piece of leaked artwork. His appearance is unknown at the moment.

Upgrade

Voiced by:

  • Tara Strong - Ben 10, Ben 10: Omniverse (10 and 11 year old), Ben 10 (Reboot) (As Gwen in Ben's body in "Freaky Gwen Ben")
  • Charlie Schlatter - Ben 10 (As Kevin in "Framed")
  • Paul Eiding - Ben 10 (As Max in "Gwen 10")
  • Yuri Lowenthal - Ben 10 / Generator Rex: Heroes United, Ben 10: Omniverse (16 year old), Ben 10: Omniverse: Galactic Monsters
  • David Sobolov - Ben 10 (Reboot)

Upgrade is a Galvanic Mechamorph, a race that was accidentally created by Galvan scientists who tried to make Galvan B (their planet Galvan Prime's moon) habitable by binding self-replicating nanotechnology to Galvan B's minerals. When a new sentient species was born as a result, the Galvans abandoned the project and allowed the Galvanic Mechamorphs to flourish into a civilization. Ben first became Upgrade to stop some criminals who were robbing an ATM in "Permanent Retirement".

Other than firing plasma beams from its eye, a Galvanic Mechamorph's primary ability is to merge with technology, upgrading or changing it far beyond its original design. Another ability Galvanic Mechamorphs possess is to form sharp projections made from their bodies as seen in the episode "Framed" when Kevin, as Upgrade, fended off Ben as Wildmutt. Ben himself performed a similar ability in the episode "Side Effects" when he merged with a motorcycle and formed spikes from its wheels. While they can control non-sentient machines, Galvanic Mechamorphs are incapable of properly controlling sentient technology. Galvanic Mechomorphs are also vulnerable to electricity and any substance corrosive to regular metals, both of which can damage their delicate internal workings. In Ultimate Alien, Upgrade has a black and green color scheme; he still has the green stripes on the black side, but now has black stripes in the green side.

In Omniverse, Upgrade's design is the same as it was from Ultimate Alien, except he is more muscular and his Omnitrix symbol is in the middle of his eye circuit. He made his Omniverse debut in "Otto Motives" so he could upgrade Kevin's car to fight Otto. His Dimension 23 counterpart (used by Ben 23) is known as Techno-Bubble (voiced by Tara Strong).

In the reboot, Upgrade is now dark purple and no longer has a computerized version of Ben's voice. In "Omni-Tricked", Ben used Upgrade to upgrade his Omnitrix, resulting with access to Shock Rock while "Omni-Enhancing" Ben's alien forms. However, this caused Upgrade to be removed from the Omnitrix, causing it to merge with Ben's DNA to survive and become Glitch.

Bootleg

Voiced by:

Bootleg is the Antitrix counterpart of Upgrade, who first appeared in the episode "Franken-Fight". This version is blue instead of purple with a red eye and spiked armor. In addition to all the abilities used by Upgrade normally, Bootleg can also take over something used by another Galvanic Mechamorph.

Ghostfreak

Voiced by:

  • Steve Blum - Ben 10, Ben 10: Omniverse, Ben 10: Omniverse: Galactic Monsters
  • Jeff Bennett - Ben 10: Alien Force, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien

Ghostfreak is an Ectonurite, a one-eyed ghost-like creature from the planet Anur Phaetos.

Ben first transformed into Ghostfreak to sneak out of his great aunt's house in "Permanent Retirement", admitting a sense of dread when he later uses Ghostfreak to defeat Zombozo. This would later be revealed to be the result of Zs'Skayr's consciousness influencing Ben whenever he becomes Ghostfreak. Eventually, Zs'Skayr becomes strong enough to escape the Omnitrix in "Ghostfreaked Out", causing Ben to lose the ability to become Ghostfreak until the episode "Be Afraid of the Dark" when Zs'Skayr escaped death by allowing the Omnitrix to scan him. In Ultimate Alien, Ghostfreak looks notably different from the original series, having white skin, a bigger eye, and the Ultimatrix moved to his chest from his left chest. In Omniverse, Ghostfreak now has chains on his neck, wrists, shoulders, and tail. He is also much skinnier than he was before and does not seem to have the Zs'Skayr personality anymore.

Cannonbolt

Voiced by:

Cannonbolt is an Arburian Pelarota, a hulking, broad-shouldered alien covered in natural armor plating, and by curling up into a ball, he can encase himself in his armor, becoming virtually invulnerable. The drawback is that Cannonbolt quickly picks up momentum, which can make hitting more agile targets difficult, as he cannot slow down quickly; in addition, Cannonbolt's speed and maneuverability is limited outside of his ball form, owing to his bulk and high center of gravity. The first time Ben used Cannonbolt was in "The Big Tick", but it was an accidental transformation, Ben intended to turn into XLR8 to go to a fast-food restaurant; the first intentional transformation was made in the same episode to try to stop "The Great One" for destroying Earth. In "Ben 10,000" and "Ken 10", he now has black pants and more black around his forehead. Cannonbolt replaced Ghostfreak as the ninth alien from season 3 onward as Ghostfreak broke out of the Omnitrix as Zs'Skayr. He was originally meant to be one of the original ten aliens, but was replaced by Ghostfreak & Diamondhead in production.

In Alien Force and Ultimate Alien, Cannonbolt's armor is more curved, the stripe on his torso is gone, his eyes are now green, and the Omnitrix symbol is on his chest. While Ben possessed the Ultimatrix, he could evolve Cannonbolt into Ultimate Cannonbolt with his abilities advanced while his armor has cylindrical studs that turn into spikes when he goes into his ball form. Ben first used Ultimate Cannonbolt in "Too Hot to Handle" to hold Kevin and P'andor, allowing Kevin to seal P'andor back into his suit. His Dimension 23 counterpart (used by Ben 23) is known as Rollaway (voiced by David Kaye).

In the reboot, Cannonbolt's Omnitrix symbol is white instead of green and he has sharp teeth. He can also become Omni-Enhanced Cannonbolt, with Shock Rock's armor forming a spiky rock helmet.

Wrecking Bolt

Voiced by:

Wrecking Bolt is the Antitrix counterpart of Cannonbolt. The main difference between Wrecking Bolt and Cannonbolt is that Wrecking Bolt's pads are instead spiked, and thus, has a far more destructive crash.

Wildvine

Voiced by:

Wildvine is a Florauna from the planet Flors Verdance. Florauna are plant-based aliens with tentacle like roots for legs, and carnivorous plant-shaped flaps covering their heads. Among a Florauna's abilities are extending limbs, thorns, explosive seeds, merging with other plants and understanding other plant-based beings, and regeneration from near fatal attacks. However, like any plant, a Florauna requires sunlight and water to survive, and is weak to fire.

Wildvine returns in Ben 10: Omniverse, during a training session with Rook. His 16-year-old version looks exactly the same with the exception of having four plant legs, green patches instead of "eyes" on his shoulders and the Omnitrix symbol being on a belt. 11 year old Wildvine's appearance is similar to the original series but has green patches on his shoulders.

In the reboot, Wildvine is more humanoid, the fly trap design on his neck is different, there are four seeds on his back and he has legs. Since the episode "Battle at Biggie Box", Wildvine gained the ability to become Omni-Enhanced Wildvine, with Shock Rock's armor forming two blue energy limbs and gray torso armor with large venustrap-like decorations over his shoulders.

Thornblade

Voiced by:

Thornblade is the Antitrix version of Wildvine. His seeds are instead replaced with a pair of thorned vines, and the design of his face resembles Shockwave's from Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

Spitter

Voiced by:

Spitter is a Spheroid from the planet Scalpasc. He is a green pufferfish-like alien who has spikes on the top and bottom of his head. His mouth covers mostly the upper front of him, which is filled with dull colored, pointed teeth. He has black pants that partly covers his stomach, where the Omnitrix symbol is located. His primary ability is to spit slippery, conductive slime, but he also seems to have enhanced strength.

Buzzshock

Voiced by:

Buzzshock is a Nosedeenian, from the Nosedeen Quasar (a play on Noseden and Quasar). Commonly referred to as Megawhatts, Nosedeenians are battery-like energy beings that can manipulate electricity, transmit themselves through any electrical source at high speeds, and reproduce via mitosis once they gather enough energy. Buzzshock was first seen being used by Ben 10,000 in his fight with Doctor Animo.

In Omniverse, Buzzshock now has bolts on his hands, and the Omnitrix symbol is on his head. Buzzshock was used to save the Phil from absorbing the Megawhatts and send Phil into the Null Void by powering up the Null Void Projector.

Arctiguana

Voiced by:

Arctiguana is a Polar Manzardill, an alien from the planet X'Nelli that resembles an iguana. Arctiguana can fire a long-range freeze ray that can freeze targets in ice, freeze molten lava, and create an icy path that he can skate across in a snowboard-like fashion. Arctiguana can survive in sub-freezing temperatures and breathe underwater. As shown in "For a Few Brains More", Arctiguana can use his breath as a means of quickly hovering across the ground. If Arctiguana uses his ice breath too much, he will need to catch his breath before using it to again. In the original series, Arctiguana had three fins on his back, small spikes around his face, and gills on the sides of his head. Arctiguana wore white pants and a black open-front shirt. He wore the Omnitrix symbol on his left wrist.

In Omniverse, Arctiguana has clothing which covers most of his body. His chest is covered by a white shell. He has four pointed fins instead of three. The clothing goes all the way up to his head and his pants are fully black. The black stripes on his face do not go through his mouth anymore, instead going around his mouth. The spikes on his face are now on his chin, his gills are no longer visible, and the Omnitrix symbol is on his chest. His Dimension 23 counterpart is known as Freezelizard (voiced by Eric Bauza).

Ultimate Arctiguana

Voiced by:

Ultimate Arctiguana is capable of firing a long-range freeze ray that isolates targets in ice on contact. He can shoot large columns of ices from his cannons, and propel himself across the ground with their force.

Blitzwolfer

Voiced by:

Benwolf in the first three series or Blitzwolfer in Omniverse, is a Loboan from Anur Transyl's moon Luna Lobo. Besides superhuman strength and agility, Blitzwolfer can peel back his lupine snout to send out a sonic howl. Besides the color-blindness, Blitzwolfer finds it hard to resist his predatory instincts. He is said to be blinded by ultraviolet light, although there is no evidence to support this.

Ben first became Blitzwolfer when a Loboan assumed to be a Yenaldooshi scratched the Omnitrix in the episode "Benwolf", causing the transformation to be unlocked into Ben's selection of aliens. The result of Ben's battle leaves the Omnitrix halfway between "Scan Mode" and "Active Mode"; causing him to transform within several hours instead of instantly as he normally does. In Ultimate Alien he wears the same clothing, he wears the Ultimatrix on his chest and the inside of his mouth is red and white. Blitzwolfer later makes his return in the Omniverse episode "An American Benwolf in London", his name coined at the time, now in a green and black suit with matching collar and wristbands and a white belt. The episode implies that the new name was hastily inspired by Wolf Blitzer. He then turns into him again briefly in the Omniverse episodes "Catfight" and "An American Benwolf in London".

Snare-oh

Voiced by:

Benmummy in the first three series or Snare-Oh in Omniverse, is a Thep Khufan, from the desert planet Anur Khufos. Thep Khufans are mummy-like creatures made up of many bandages that function like tentacles and can regenerate from any injury with an apparent immunity to corrodium. However, the downside is that Thep Khufans are prone to getting wet or burned.

Snare-Oh was seen only two times in the original series; Ben first transformed into him in "The Return" while fighting off the Yenaldooshi and getting used to his form's abilities. He was seen again in the episode "Ken 10", where Ben 10,000 helps his son Kenny when he got stuck trying to escape from his room.

In Ultimate Alien, Snare-Oh looks the same but is much taller and now wears the Ultimatrix symbol on his chest and the green lines on his body are now gold. In Omniverse, Snare-Oh is redesigned to have a new black head-dress with a golden crown; a collar/wrap-like garment over his shoulders and neck, and his Omnitrix symbol is on the waist of his tunic.

Frankenstrike

Voiced by:

Benvicktor in the first three series or Frankenstrike in Omniverse, is a Transylian from the planet Anur Transyl in the Anur system. Transylians resemble patch-work humanoids with mechanical parts on their bodies while possessing super-strength, agility, and durability. They also can generate electricity, adhere to metal surfaces through electromagnetism, and survive in the vacuum of space.

Frankenstrike looks slightly different from Dr. Viktor, with longer hair and a smaller left eye; also as the others, has green eyes instead of purple, and releases green electricity. Ben first became Frankenstrike after the Omnitrix scanned Dr. Viktor during his fight with him in "Be Afraid of the Dark". In Omniverse, Frankenstrike reappears in "Max's Monster". His Dimension 23 counterpart is known as Lightning Volt (voiced by David Kaye).

Upchuck

Voiced by:

Upchuck (from the slang term for vomit) is a Gourmand (from gourmand) from the planet Peptos XI. Divided into the dark-green Murks and the light-green Perks, Gourmands are small frog-like aliens with a very large appetite, their four adhesive tongues stretching out to latch onto large objects and swallow whole. As Gourmand's mouths and stomachs stretch to facilitate the digestion, the latter converts the ingested matter into explosive balls of liquid that can be expelled at will. As a defense, having done so with their ten previous homeworlds, Gourmands can devour their planet as a last resort when invaded and depart for a new planet to call home.

Perk Upchuck was unlocked for Ben's use by Xylene, to save Max by destroying Vilgax's drone in "The Visitor". As Perk Upchuck, it seems that Ben cannot easily digest human food due to their acids being unstable for a Gourmand to digest. Murk Upchuck can digest food though, as seen in "Charm´s Way". Perk Upchuck has green skin, sprout like growths on the back of his head, a dark green patch of skin on his head, light green skin, and crooked teeth. His Dimension 23 counterpart is known as Vomit Man (voiced by Eric Bauza).

Ditto

Voiced by:

  • Rob Paulsen - Ben 10, Ben 10: Omniverse, Ben 10: Omniverse: Galactic Monsters

Ditto is a Splixson from the Earth-like planet Hathor. He can clone himself limitlessly, but each clone shares pain with the other clones; the death of one clone will cause the death of the rest. If a clone is separated from the others during the Omnitrix's timeout phase, Ben is forced to remain stuck as Ditto until the copies are brought sufficiently close together. Ben activated Ditto accidentally in the episode "Divided We Stand", to fight Dr. Animo's mutated seagull; his first intentional Ditto transformation was in the same episode to go goofing around on the beach.

In Omniverse, 11-year-old Ditto's head fins are white and the ones on the side are connected to his eyes. He also has two small spikes protruding from his cheeks. His fingers are now sharper and the green orbs on his shoulders are gone. He has bumps like the three on his waist on his shoulders and wrists. 16-year-old Ditto looks similar to his 11-year-old self. He has green fins now. His suit where it used to be black is now green, and he has green under his arms, on his shins, and around his waist.

Eye Guy

Voiced by:

Eye Guy is an Opticoid from the planet Sightra. As his name says, Eye Guy's upper body is covered in eyes, though he has no eyes on his head, which consists of a mouth and a pair of bat-like ears. From these eyes, Eye Guy can fire numerous energy beams such as, ice beams, fire beams, and laser beams; the eyes can be merged to create different effects, like a freezing beam; and by merging every eye into a large eye, he can fire a stronger energy blast.

His only appearance in the original series was in "Ben 10 vs. the Negative 10", where Ben was attempting to prevent the Negative 10 from stealing the Sub-Energy. He also was seen in the "Secret of the Omnitrix", in a fight with Doctor Animo.

In Omniverse, Eye Guy looks almost the same as the original series, with his central eye returning, but now the white circles on his pants have been replaced with green stripes and his belt is now green with a white stripe. He wears green cuffs and has less eyes covering his body. He has a green belt where the Omnitrix symbol is located. Eye Guy's Dimension 23 counterpart has the same name as hin, but has blue eyes instead of yellow.

In the reboot, his appearance is unknown, but his existence has been confirmed, as the DNA pod representing him was one of fifteen revealed in a piece of leaked artwork.

Way Big

Voiced by:

Way Big is a To'kustar, a species of alien created by unpredictable cosmic storms. He is 150 feet tall with the ability to move at fast speeds and create a cosmic storm and has invulnerability. His only weak point is his fin, which momentarily paralyzes him when struck. "Way Big" is a homage to the Japanese character "Ultraman".

Debuting in "Ben 10: Secret of the Omnitrix", Way Big was also seen in the episode "Ken 10" where Ben 10,000 fights Kevin 11,000 when he defeats Kenny. In Ben 10: Alien Force and Destroy All Aliens, the spikes on his hips and shoulders are gone and he now has green eyes. Way Big has great strength as shown in the Ultimate Alien episode "The Ultimate Sacrifice" when he easily defeated all 6 Ultimates. He also has great strength on objects his size such as in "Primus" where he threw Vilgax into orbit, despite him being his own size. Also, in "The Widening Gyre" he threw the garbage monster into the sun, despite it being relatively bigger.

In Omniverse, Way Big speaks in a distorted Japanese accent. He was temporarily erased from the Ultimatrix as a result of Eon's time ray. His Dimension 23 counterpart is known as Giant-Manster.

Ultimate Way Big

Voiced by:

Ultimate Way Big is 300 feet tall, has a spike sticking up from both his cheeks and his body is blue, red, and white. He has increased strength and durability, and can fly and launch cosmic disks from his hands. However, his giant size prevents him from fighting in small spaces and he can be harmed by Diagon's magic acid rain.

Eon

Voiced by:

Eon is a Chronian from the planet Chronia. He looks like the regular Eon, only he lacks the helmet and appears younger. The Omnitrix is hidden underneath his cloak on his right pectoral. The original Eon forced Ben to transform into his form of Eon once his DNA was added to the Omnitrix in Race Against Time. This alien is non-canon to the animated show, as Eon is an alternate counterpart of Ben as opposed to an alien.

Introduced in Alien Force

This list includes the aliens that were introduced to the franchise through the Alien Force installment.

Swampfire

Voiced by:

  • Dee Bradley Baker - Ben 10: Alien Force, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, Ben 10: Omniverse, Ben 10: Omniverse: Galactic Monsters
  • David Kaye - Ben 10: Omniverse 2

Swampfire is a Methanosian from the planet Methanos (referring to methane), a living plant alien with superhuman strength and ability to create fire from the methane produced by his body. Besides being able to control plant life and producing seeds that quickly grow into vines, Swampfire also has a vast regenerative ability that allows him to alter his own body. This expresses itself in such ways as tunnelling underground in vine form, growing his feet to root himself into the ground, healing his lost limbs or producing other ones; this ability makes him almost indestructible. However, Swampfire is more vulnerable than Heatblast because he can be frozen for periods of time, unlike Heatblast, who is completely invulnerable to cold. He first appeared in the pilot episode of Alien Force, "Ben 10 Returns", after the Omnitrix recalibrated, to fight the DNAliens, Forever Knights, and Kevin.

In Omniverse, Swampfire is now olive green, and his arms are larger. The red petals on his shoulder, along with the green thorns on his body, are thinner and longer. His torso design has changed, splitting the black parts on his waist into two. The Omnitrix symbol has also moved from his chest to his stomach. Swampfire underwent a transformative phase in "Charmed, I'm Sure", appearing more muscular, having a different colour scheme, a red/orange/yellow colored face and a hood-like formation on his neck. His Dimension 23 counterpart is known as Mr. Mucky.

Ultimate Swampfire

Voiced by:

As Ultimate Swampfire, he is a tree-like version of himself with blue gooey shells containing a flammable substance that is used to create blue flames. Ultimate Swampfire cannot regenerate himself, but his body is made of petrified wood which is more resistant to damage. Ben first used Ultimate Swampfire in the Alien Force series finale "The Final Battle", being the first ultimate form used by Ben.

Echo Echo

Voiced by:

Echo Echo is a Sonorosian, a white silicon-based alien from the planet of Sonorosia. He can scream at ultrasonic frequencies, capable of overloading machinery and stopping projectiles in mid-flight; he can also use echolocation; and channel vibrations to enhance his power and transmit sound waves through speakers. He can duplicate himself, but unlike Ditto, the clones are not linked in any way and can revert even if all duplicates are not re-integrated.

In Omniverse, Echo Echo is fatter and shorter, with stubbier legs. On the back of his MP3 player, instead of two plug-like holes, there is now the number ten. His eyes appear puffier and the Omnitrix symbol is now on his forehead. His Dimension 23 counterpart is known as Copy Copy.

Ultimate Echo Echo

Voiced by:

As Ultimate Echo Echo, Echo Echo is blue, taller, and has longer arms. Unlike his regular form, Ultimate Echo Echo cannot duplicate himself, but he can now shoot sonic waves and levitate. Ben first used Ultimate Echo Echo in "Map of Infinity" to fight the Necrofriggian colonizers, and to help Gwen and Kevin with the traps of the temple. In Omniverse, Albedo takes on a new Ultimate Echo Echo form, which is dark blue and has red disks; he also has red wires on his limbs.

Humungousaur

Voiced by:

Humungousaur is a Vaxasaurian (vaxa is an Icelandic word which means grow and sauria is a clade of lizards) from the planet Terradino ("terrible land" in Latin). He is a humanoid dinosaur-like alien who possesses great strength and thick skin that provides vast resistance to injury. He can increase his own body size and mass to grow up to 60 feet in height. His strength increases as he grows, and his dinosaur-like features become more pronounced, growing Stegosaurus-like plates, a forehead crest, and tail spikes; Humungousaur can also survive in space for at least a few minutes.

In Omniverse, Humungousaur wears black briefs and a green sash across his chest containing the Omnitrix symbol. His Dimension 23 counterpart is known as Dino-Mighty (voiced by John DiMaggio).

Humungousaur appears in the reboot, mostly resembling his original form with the spines he develops while enlarged from Alien Force and Ultimate Humungousaur's tail mace. In addition, this version of Humongousaur can create sonic blasts by slamming his tail mace down.

Ultimate Humungousaur

Voiced by:

As Ultimate Humungousaur, he is a green ankylosaurus-like creature with grey horns, a mace in his tail, and a large, spiked shell. He can convert his hands into bio-Gatling guns that can shoot bone fragments as missiles. Ultimate Humungousaur was first used by Albedo in "The Final Battle" to fight Ben as Humungousaur, being the first Ultimate Form used in the Ultimatrix. Ben first uses him in the Ultimate Alien episode "Too Hot to Handle" to fight P'andor and his minions. In Omniverse, Albedo's version now has tan skin instead of green, appears more like a cyborg, and his bio-gatling guns now rotate when fired.

Jetray

Voiced by:

Jetray is an Aerophibian (derived from aero for air and amphibian) from the planet Aeropela. He is a manta ray-like alien who can fly and swim at supersonic speeds, accelerate to speeds greater than light, and shoot neuroshock blasts through his eyes and tail. He also doesn't need to breathe, enabling him to easily travel through water and space. Jetray first appears to chase Alan Albright in "Everybody Talks About the Weather". Jetray did not appear in Omniverse but was mentioned several times when Ben tries to use a flying alien but turns into another one instead.

Jetray was confirmed to appear in the reboot for season 4 in a poster from Cartoon Network's YouTube page.

Big Chill

Voiced by:

  • Dee Bradley Baker - Ben 10: Alien Force, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, Ben 10: Omniverse, Ben 10: Omniverse: Galactic Monsters

Big Chill is a Necrofriggian (necro- meaning death, and frigid meaning very cold) from the planet Kylmyys (the Finnish word for coldness). Moth-like creatures who can fold their wings to resemble hooded figures, Necrofriggians can become intangible and freeze an opponent in various ways, one of which utilizes intangibility to freeze anything that they pass through. His Dimension 23 counterpart is known as Freezeghost (voiced by Dee Bradley Baker).

While possessing superhuman strength and resistance to extreme temperatures, Necrofriggians can't use their intangibility against opponents with the same ability. Necrofriggians asexually reproduce once every 80 years: they build a large nest made of digested metal, where their eggs will hatch. Their babies eat metal from the nest before instinctively feeding on solar plasma until they mature and go to their home.

Ben first became Big Chill in "Kevin's Big Score" to chase down Kevin after he stole the Rustbucket. Later, due to the Necrofriggian reproduction cycle, Big Chill overtook Ben's personality to carry out the process, but Ben didn't remember anything he did as Big Chill during this cycle.

Ultimate Big Chill

Voiced by:

As Ultimate Big Chill, he is red-skinned with flame designs on his wings; his voice is more gravelly than normal and is deeper-toned. In this state, Ultimate Big Chill can create "ice flames", flames that coat what they touch in ice. He was first used in "Hit Em Where They Live", to fight Vulkanus and his Pickaxe Alien army.

Chromastone

Voiced by:

Chromastone is a Crystalsapien (a combination of crystal- and -sapien). His home planet is Petropia, which he shares with Diamondhead.

Chromastone is a silicon-based alien with super dense skin and magenta crystals protruding from his torso. He has great strength, the ability to fly, and indestructible crystal skin. He can absorb most kinds of energy and channel it into multicolored laser blasts. In battle, Chromastone can let energy pass harmlessly through his body via refraction or blast it back at the foe; however he is unable to absorb energy when not expecting it or is too weak to do so. Ben first used Chromastone to stop the zombified schoolgirls in "All That Glitters".

In the episode "Vengeance of Vilgax", Vilgax destroyed Chromastone using his Taydenite sword, but the alien's remains reformed into Diamondhead. He hid himself until the time came for him to restore Petropia shortly after Vilgax's destruction of the planet. It is believed that Sugilite is the guardian of the Petrosapiens, and that he was created as a backup system for the planet in case the planet was destroyed. Although Chromastone became accessible again after the events of "The Secret of Chromastone", Ben didn't use him again until the pilot episode of Ultimate Alien.

In Omniverse, Chromastone was first used in Trouble Helix, when Khyber broke into the Plumbers' base for data. In "A New Dawn", Chromastone takes on a new appearance. He now wears a green jumpsuit, has spikes on his shoulder, arms, head, and legs, and wears green gauntlets on his wrists and legs. His chin resembles a mouth guard and is now magenta. The Omnitrix symbol is now on his right pectoral.

Brainstorm

Voiced by:

Brainstorm is a Cerebrocrustacean (a play on cerebrum and crustacean) from the planet Encephalonus IV (a play on encepha-, a prefix referring to the brain), the previous three Encephalonus planets were destroyed because primitive Cerebrocrustaceans attempted to harness the storms surrounding their planets. Cerebrocrustaceans are intelligent crab-like creatures who can perform complex calculations and use electric attacks by using their pincers or opening the exoskeleton plates that cover their brains. They can also levitate and create force fields, but their intellect makes them selfish and eccentric. As Brainstorm, Ben speaks with much greater diction and with a British accent. He was first seen in "Pier Pressure", to face Ship, but was an accidental transformation. In Omniverse, Brainstorm has black and green stripes; one in the center of his head, while the other goes under him. He now speaks with a Swedish accent.

Spidermonkey

Voiced by:

Spidermonkey is an Arachnichimp (a play on arachnid and chimpanzee) from the jungle planet Arahnascimmia. Dwelling in tree tops to avoid the giant predators on Arahnascimmia's surface, Arachnichimps are four-eyed, four-armed monkey-like aliens with the ability to produce strong webbing from their tails. Despite not being physically strong, Spidermonkey's wiry frame is suitable to evading danger.

In Omniverse, Spidermonkey's design was substantially changed, having two extra eyes, spiky hair, gray stripes, and two green sashes going across his chest where the Omnitrix is located. He first reappears in "The More Things Change", to fight the Crabdozer, Heatblast's natural predator. His Dimension 23 counterpart is known as Mr. Monkey (voiced by Dee Bradley Baker).

Ultimate Spidermonkey

Voiced by:

As Ultimate Spidermonkey, he is a bulky purple gorilla-like being with four sharp spider legs sprouting from his back, and he had lost his tail and extra arms. In this state, Ultimate Spidermonkey is stronger and can spit stronger webs from his mouth in a larger amount. He was first seen in the pilot episode of Ultimate Alien, to fight Bivalvan. In "For a Few Brains More", Albedo uses another form of Ultimate Spidermonkey that has six arms, six eyes, darker fur/skin and spikes on his chin.

Goop

Voiced by:

  • Dee Bradley Baker - Ben 10: Alien Force, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, Ben 10: Omniverse
  • James Remar - Ben 10: Alien Force (As Vilgax in "Primus")

Goop is a Polymorph from the planet Viscosia. He is a viscous shapeshifter made of green goo and controlled by an anti-gravity generator developed by the Galvans that resembles a small flying saucer. This device allows him to take any shape and levitate; however, if the ship and the slime are separated, the slime will become inert until the ship recollects it.

In "Deep" Goop used his anti-gravity projector to keep the Piscciss planet's gravity, and he left his generator there, even after Ben turned back to human form. Dwayne McDuffie says the Ultimatrix will generate another anti-gravity projector; he also said that the original Polymorphs did not use a projector.

Goop first appears to battle a Techadon in "The Gauntlet". In Omniverse, Goop has an amoeba-like shape; and the anti-gravity projector is redesigned, where the Omnitrix symbol is now on the top of the projector; also when Goop speaks now, a crackle of static is heard as if he is speaking through a walkie-talkie. His Dimension 23 counterpart is known as Muck-A-Muck.

Alien X

Voiced by:

  • Yuri Lowenthal - Ben 10: Alien Force, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, Ben 10: Omniverse

Alien X is a Celestialsapien (from the word celestial and sapien, the Latin word for wise), native to the Forge of Creation, hidden from everyone except Paradox and whoever possesses the Map of Infinity. Celestialsapiens have black humanoid bodies with tiny white stars on their skin. Celestialsapiens can manipulate space, time and reality, but are normally in an inactive state of internal debate due to having a dual consciousness, one being a personification of love and compassion, while the other embodies rage and aggression. Unless able to achieve a balance between its two personas, a Celestialsapien normally remains still for long periods of time. However, the personas do have some common ground, like a mutual hatred for Paradox with an unknown cause.

Ben first became Alien X when he repaired a broken dam in "X = Ben + 2", becoming a metaphysical mediator for Alien X's personas, Bellicus and Serena;, however, his inability to get the two personas to agree makes Ben unable to physically move as Alien X. Since that point, he views the use of the form as a major risk despite acknowledging Alien X as one of his most powerful aliens.

After getting the Ultimatrix, Ben had a security protocol installed that ensured that he would not accidentally turn into Alien X. Ben had the lock undone in a failed attempt to get Bellicus and Serena to help him find the Forge of Creation and stop Aggregor. Paradox ended up getting Ben out of his Alien X form after the boy's attempt to reason with the two personalities failed, prior to them realizing Paradox's presence and were about to vaporize him.

Alien X returned in Omniverse, in "So Long, And Thanks For All the Smoothies", having a more pronounced chin and being more muscular. Although saving the universe from the detonated Anihilaarg is beyond them, Serena convinced Bellicus to let Ben recreate the universe as Alien X. Later, though, these actions brought Ben against the Celestialsapien court, and in the process of fighting their champion, the Galactic Gladiator, he gained complete control over Alien X, allowing him to use his powers more easily.

Lodestar

Voiced by:

Lodestar (a play on lodestone, a magnetic rock) is a Biosovortian, an alien with a floating metal head and crab-like claws. He has magnetic powers, being able to create magnetic fields, enabling him to emit magnetic pulses, and control metallic objects; he can also regenerate, create protective barriers, and fly. He first appeared in "War of the Worlds" as a hologram when the Omnitrix resets itself after Ben reprograms the DNA of the Highbreed. His official debut was in "Simple" to defeat the Red Army.

His Ultimate Alien debut was in "Video Games" in a failed attempt to fight the Stalker. In Omniverse, Lodestar's design is relatively unchanged, except that his head is more skull-like with yellow horns. His legs have less black on them, the yellow going up past his knees, and the glow around his head is now green.

Rath

Voiced by:

Rath (a play on "wrath") is an Appoplexian (a play on apoplexy, a synonym for extreme anger) from the planet Appoplexia. Resembling muscular, humanoid tiger-like aliens, Appoplexians suffer from aggressive temperament and decreased reasoning power, having a need to fight anything that breathes regardless of whether they fight their own friends. Their mannerisms and speech are reminiscent of a professional wrestler speaking in third person, saying "Lemme tell ya somethin'!" then followed by the full name of whoever they are talking to. In addition, each Appoplexian has retractable claws on their wrists that can generate shockwaves when driven into objects. They are durable to the point of surviving in space and taking a powerful laser blast at point blank range without even flinching. However, other than their tempers, Appoplexians have acute aquaphobia.

Ben first becomes Rath in "Con of Rath" (a play on Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan) when the crown prince Tiffin sets off the Omnitrix's circuit, and caused it to keep Ben in that state for the whole episode until the Tiffin leaves. Though being Rath alters his mind (to the point where he tries harming Captain Nemesis for cheating in a race), he is one of Ben's more powerful alien forms due to having enough physical agility and strength to easily lift objects far larger than him and pummel most enemies with ease. Both Kevin and Gwen find Rath the most amusing of Ben's aliens, often laughing behind his back or out of Ben's hearing range while he is transformed into Rath.

In Omniverse, Rath's appearance is unchanged except for having different-shaped eyebrows. He reappears in "It Was Them" to fight Dr. Animo's giant ants. It's later revealed that, unlike other Appoplexians, Rath does not wear any clothing, which is odd, considering that the Omnitrix usually adapts the user's clothing to the alien they turned into. In "Secret of Dos Santos", due to Skurd's tinkering with the Omnitrix, Rath ended up speaking in Spanish and wearing luchador garb.

In the reboot series, his existence is hinted in the episode "Animorphosis" when Dr. Animo temporarily transformed himself into an Appoplexian after injecting himself with genetic material he extracted from the Omnitrix. Later, Ben acquired access to Rath in season three following the Omnitrix's reboot.

Ultimate Rath

Voiced by:

Debuting in Omniverse, Ultimate Rath wears attire in homage to Kraven the Hunter of the Marvel comics universe. He has white fur and pink skin and is able to speak normally. It is a form exclusive to Albedo that he first used in "Malgax Attacks".

Nanomech

Voiced by:

Nanomech is a Nanochip/human hybrid called a Nanomechion. He is an inch tall, but is drastically different from the source alien, which are bug-like, while Nanomech takes more on a humanoid shape. He has a crest-like growth on his head. He can fly, shoot energy, and shrink to a microscopic size. Being a part of the chips' hive mind renders him vulnerable to the Queen's link to the other chips; however, unlike the drones, he retains his individuality.

In Ben 10: Alien Swarm, Nanomech was unlocked by scanning the Nanochips. He was used to enter Victor Validus's brain and battle The Queen; Ben destroyed her and thus the entirety of the chips, freeing everybody from their control.

He first reappears in the Ultimate Alien episode "Video Games", with his appearance and voice changed; Nanomech would be in a supposed video game he was going to appear in, but Nanomech was regarded too small for the video game. Later in the same episode, he was used to tear apart Will Harangue's robot.

In Omniverse, he now has a design that combines aspects more from Alien Swarm. He no longer has his circuits, and has different wings and a more robotic voice tone, he has four small eyes around his face and his Omnitrix symbol is now where his eye used to be. His Dimension 23 counterpart is known as Teeny-Weeny.

Introduced in Ultimate Alien

This list includes the aliens that were introduced to the franchise through the Ultimate Alien installment.

Water Hazard

Voiced by:

  • Dee Bradley Baker - Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, Ben 10: Omniverse, Ben 10: Omniverse: Galactic Monsters

Water Hazard is an Orishan from Kiusana in the Andromeda Galaxy. He has a red cape type "shell" that covers his head. He can blast water from his hands and absorb moisture from creatures. Ben obtained Water Hazard by scanning Bivalvan, who was on Aggregor's ship along with Ra'ad, Andreas, Galapagus, and P'andor, the genetic donors of AmpFibian, Armodrillo, Terraspin, and NRG, respectively. In "Too Hot to Handle", Ben decided to use the diplomatic approach with P'andor and transformed into Water Hazard, pretending to be Bivalvan; though unsuccessful in negotiation, Ben duped P'andor into thinking he was Bivalvan. In Omniverse, Water Hazard has four eyes, a retractable visor, and barnacles on his body.

AmpFibian

Voiced by:

AmpFibian is a blue jellyfish-like alien called an Amperi from Tesslos in the Andromeda Galaxy. He can generate electricity from his tentacles; sense the electrical pulses in the minds of other life forms, allowing him to read their thoughts; turn intangible; and absorb and redirect energy. AmpFibian can also travel through air, water, and electronic currents by turning his body into electricity.

Though unintentionally first used in "Fused", the first intentional use of AmpFibian was in "Deep", to breathe underwater on the planet Piscciss.

In Omniverse, AmpFibian didn't change too much except for his pointed tentacles, black eyes with green pupils, and the Omnitrix on his face.

Armodrillo

Voiced by:

Armodrillo is a Talpaedan (a play on talpidae) scanned from Andreas in "Andreas' Fault"; from the Andromeda Galaxy planet Terraexcava (meaning "excavated ground" in Portuguese).

Armodrillo is an armored robotic armadillo-like alien with a head similar to a Corinthian helmet. He has two jackhammer-like arms that give him the ability to drill into the ground, or form jackhammers or drills. His Dimension 23 counterpart is known as Toolboxx (voiced by John DiMaggio). In Omniverse, his design now includes a different head shape, bolts on his shoulders and has a metal circle on top of his head; a tail and fingers with horizontal lines.

Terraspin

Voiced by:

Terraspin (a pun on the turtle terrapin) is a Geochelone Aerio (from Geochelone, a turtle found in Africa, Asia, and the US, and "Aerio", a play on air) scanned from Galapagus in "Escape From Aggregor"; from the Andromeda Galaxy planet Aldabra (a pun on the island of the Aldabra Group).

Terraspin is a turtle-like alien with holes in his chest, and big flat flipper-like arms with retractable claws that can be used as fingers. He has the ability to retract his head into his shell, where an opening in the shell serves as a viewfinder; in this state, he can blow wind from the holes in its shell while also using his triangular shape arms as propellers. Terraspin also has super-human strength, and his species is impervious to mana.

In Omniverse, Terraspin now has six holes instead of eight, has spots on his legs, toes and shoulders. Also his skin is now green instead of a tan/brown, and he has gained toes on his feet.

NRG

  • Dee Bradley Baker - Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, Ben 10: Omniverse, Ben 10: Omniverse: Galactic Monsters

NRG (a possible play on energy) is a Prypiatosian-B (a play on Prypiat, a city evacuated due to the Chernobyl disaster) scanned from P'andor in "Too Hot To Handle"; from Prypiatos in the Andromeda Galaxy.

NRG is a radioactive energy being with a Russian accent, encased within an oven-like invulnerable containment suit that contains his radiation. When released, he can shoot energy beams, create intense heat, and become intangible, so he cannot be touched except by the material his armor is made of. Ben first transformed into NRG by accident to defeat the 10-year-old Ben as the original Heatblast in "The Forge of Creation".

In Omniverse, his new design includes a handle-like formation on the top of his head, and has bolts on his body. Because of the handle, his armor can be opened more easily. His true form wears two straps, a belt, two wristbands on both arms and two knee braces on both legs; and he has another Omnitrix symbol, in his belt.

Fasttrack

Voiced by:

Fasttrack is a Citrakayah (a play on Citroen) from the planet Chalybeas (from "Chalybeate", a mystical water containing salts of iron possessed by the extinct "Chalybes" community). Fasttrack is a blue and black alien with two mask-like projections on his eyes. He moves at high speed like XLR8, and also has enhanced strength as he was strong enough to carry both Hulka and Tack without losing any speed. Ben unlocked ChamAlien from one of the last living Merlinisapiens, designated "Prisoner #775", after the events of "Prisoner #775 is Missing".

Eatle

Voiced by:

Eatle is an Oryctini from the planet Coleop Terra, a robotic humanoid alien with a Rhinoceros beetle-like horn. He has powers similar to Upchuck, being able to eat many things and convert them into powerful lasers. He can also use his horn as a battering ram, but has a blind spot due to his eye placement, making him easier to sneak up on. He debuted in "A Knight to Remember", during a failed attempt to fight Vilgax.

In Omniverse, Eatle was also re-designed: his look is not robotic or humanoid and now is similar to a Japanese rhinoceros beetle.

Clockwork

Voiced by:

  • Dee Bradley Baker - Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, Ben 10: Omniverse, Ben 10: Omniverse: Galactic Monsters
  • Ashley Johnson - Ben 10: Ultimate Alien (As Gwen in "Inspector 13")

Clockwork is a Chronosapien (Chrono meaning time, and sapien from the Latin word for wise), a race of mechanical lifeforms that are steampunk in design and speak in German accents. Capable of traveling through time and space, Chronosapiens can produce time rays that can either age or regress their targets or slow everything down around them. They can display events that have happened in the past by rotating the keys on their heads, which creates holographic images of past actions. His Dimension 23 counterpart is known as Windy-Hindy.

Clockwork indirectly debuted through Ben 10,000 in "Ben 10,000 Returns"; he was used to send Eon to the past and destroy the Hands of Armageddon. He appears later in "Inspector 13", when the Ultimatrix malfunctions, causing Gwen and Kevin to transform into the Ultimatrix aliens.

Voiced by:

Jury Rigg (a play on Jury rigging) is a Planchaküle from the planet Aul-Turrhen, a gremlin-like alien able to disassemble and assemble any machinery in quick time. He was first introduced in "The Eggman Cometh" three times: the first two with Ben unable to control himself as Jury Rigg before using Jury Rigg's abilities to destroy Dr. Animo's machine and rebuild it with an opposite function. In Omniverse, Jury Rigg wears an aviator's suit, which includes goggles and a scarf.

Shocksquatch

Voiced by:

  • David Kaye - Ben 10 / Generator Rex: Heroes United, Ben 10: Omniverse

Shocksquatch (a play on shock and Sasquatch) is a Gimlinopithecus (a play on Robert Gimlin and Gigantopithecus) from the planet Pattersonea (a play on Roger Patterson). Gimlinopithecuses are Yeti-like aliens who can conduct electricity. Their only weakness is being insulated, making their ability to conduct electricity useless. He speaks with a Canadian accent.

Ben briefly became Shocksquatch in the crossover "Ben 10/Generator Rex: Heroes United" due the Alpha Nanite hacking the Ultimatrix.

In Omniverse, Shocksquatch was re-designed, he appears slimmer than usual and he now has yellow and black fur, along with bigger fingers and toes; he also now has two plates on the side of his wrist instead of the back of his hands. He now has green eyes with black pupils, and has yellow horns. His Dimension 23 counterpart is known as Electricyeti (voiced by David Kaye).

Feedback is a humanoid black-and-white alien with one green eye, plugs on his fingers, tail and two antennae. He can use these plugs to absorb and redirect energy and use the electricity to grind on electric lines and fly by using it as propulsion. He can also shoot this electric stream from his fingertips thanks to this redirecting ability. His Dimension 23 counterpart was known as Plug Man before Ben 23 changed it to Feedback.

Feedback was Ben's favorite alien when he was 11 years old, using him even when he wasn't the right candidate for the situation. But due to Ben's overuse of the form, Malware destroyed Feedback and removed him from the Omnitrix. However, in the episode "Showdown", Ben regained the ability to turn into Feedback. In the Omniverse series finale, "A New Dawn", Feedback is used to defeat the rogue Chronosapien Maltruant by sending him into an infinite loop of defeat.

Voiced by:

Bloxx (a play on "blocks") is a Segmentasapien (from "segment" for part and "Sapien" for wise in Latin) from the planet Polyominus ("Poly" for many), whose body is composed by a material similar in appearance to Lego blocks. He can alter his body structure into any form needed and regenerate; however, his body is fragile and is easily broken when hit with enough force.
