After the trinity of releases named after precious stones, it seems that Nintendo may be on the verge of announcing two more titles in the precious franchise of Pokemon.
Rumours say that the next titles will be called Diamond and Pearl, although confirmation has yet to be received from Nintendo.

Pokémon Diamond and Pearl are new Pokémon games to be released for the Nintendo DS. Not much is known about them. The names Diamond and Pearl are currently unconfirmed, although the games have been officially announced by Nintendo.

There is currently only one known new Pokémon who has been added to the game, that being Munchlax, the pre-evolution of Snorlax.

Pokémon Diamond was also the name of an unauthorized bootleg version of the Japanese Game Boy Color game "Telefang".
