ArbCom 2017 election voter message

Hello, Mellk. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Lazar Matveev

Hello, Mellk. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Lazar Matveev, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Information icon Please do not use misleading edit summaries when making changes to Misplaced Pages pages, as you did to 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic. This behavior is viewed as disruptive, and continuation of this behaviour may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Horse Eye Jack (talk) 16:06, 1 April 2020 (UTC)

The specific dif is , you claimed that "I am not establishing facts with it.” when in fact you were... You were clearly establishing the fact that "The President of Lombardy, Attilio Fontana, dismissed the media reports and expressed his gratitude." Horse Eye Jack (talk) 16:06, 1 April 2020 (UTC)

You reverted my edit by saying that RIA was used (when it wasn't), because you clearly didn't check the source (hint: it wasn't RIA), continuing on user:FobTown's edits. I suspect you are a sockpuppet account and I will have to make sure this gets checked, because this is laughable.

Information icon Please do not attack other editors, as you did at 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic‎. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. General Sanctions - COVID 19

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

Please carefully read this information:

A community discussion has authorised the use of general sanctions for pages related to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
The specific details of these sanctions are described here.

Broadly, general sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimise disruption in controversial topic areas. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to these topics that do not adhere to the purpose of Misplaced Pages, our standards of behaviour, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. An editor can only be sanctioned after he or she has been made aware that general sanctions are in effect. This notification is meant to inform you that sanctions are authorised in these topic areas, which you have been editing. It is only effective if it is logged here. Before continuing to edit pages in these topic areas, please familiarise yourself with the general sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.
