Happy holidays

Interstellarity (talk) is wishing you Happy Holidays! This greeting (and season) promotes WikiLove and hopefully this note has made your day a little better. Spread the WikiLove by wishing another user Happy Holidays, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past, a good friend, or just some random person. Happy New Year!

Spread the cheer by adding {{subst:Happy holidays}} to their talk page with a friendly message.

Hi David

Yes, You are right I do not qualify as a reviewer yet, I am just getting started; However, Thank you for pointing out the minimum requirements. I would surely revert my actions. Additionally, If you could point me out How can I tidy up and close the submissions correctly - Would be greatly helpful :) quantumdots-x (talk) 18:25, 10 February 2020 (UTC)

If you don't know how to undo your mistakes (see Help:Reverting) it is doubtful whether you should be editing any pages on Misplaced Pages, and obviously definitely not attempting AFC reviews. Fortunately, it looks as if Justlettersandnumbers has been going round reverting your edits. --David Biddulph (talk) 12:17, 8 February 2020 (UTC)

Yes, True Mistake on my end :( Thanks for pointing out the mistake on Akash Manoj - would add appropriate short summary. :) quantumdots-x 12:34, 8 February 2020 (UTC)

You obviously still haven't read WP:Short description. It says "The short description is intended to be used in conjunction with the article title, and should be written as though it follows the title. Duplication of information already in the title is to be avoided.", and yet you started with the article title. It says the target length is 40 characters and you used 243. If you can't read and understand the English language, please stay away from the English Misplaced Pages. Also the welcome message on your user talk page gave you a link to Misplaced Pages:Signatures, which includes WP:SIGLINK; your message above doesn't include a compliant signature. If you have been trying to be clever in customising your signature you have messed it up so you need to put it back to the default. Yet again, don't try to do things you don't understand. --David Biddulph (talk) 13:04, 8 February 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for the edits on Manu P :) quantumdots-x (talk) 18:25, 10 February 2020 (UTC)

Thanks on the signature config too :) quantumdots-x (talk) 18:26, 10 February 2020 (UTC)

Hi Again, Would you please have a look on this article for errors? https://en.wikipedia.org/Pradhan_Mantri_Rashtriya_Bal_Puruskar Additionally, The article doesn't have an assessment grade yet. quantumdots-x (talk) 18:40, 10 February 2020 (UTC)

To refer to a Misplaced Pages page, give a wikilink, like Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puruskar, rather than a url like https://en.wikipedia.org/Pradhan_Mantri_Rashtriya_Bal_Puruskar. That article is choc-a-bloc with violations of the WP:Manual of Style, a total mess. If one were looking for an example of how not to write an article, it would be hard to find a more appropriate example. --David Biddulph (talk) 18:47, 10 February 2020 (UTC)

Your help with my question about Interlanguage links was really appreciated. Best regards, Coel Jo (talk) 23:01, 9 February 2020 (UTC)

The Toven

David,

Your response was received and well taken. When you say misplaced external links, to confirm, are you referring to broken links or simply misplaced in the body of the text. Also Am I to wait on a volunteer response to the original Tea Talk question of sufficient notability vs notability?

was the reviewing volunteer saying that the subject is not "worthy of notice"?

According to Wiki

If a topic has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject, it is presumed to be suitable for a stand-alone article or list.

Provided were reliable sources DJ Rectangle DJ Rectangle-1995 Vinyl Combat, Ill Rated and Jayo Felony UndergroundJayo Felony-Underground album. Whereby The Toven performed and contributed to both.

Could you please take a look at this

User: David Biddulph I want to point your attention that the user Lion Pappa has also been vandalising multiple pages and removing sourced information on the article do not state. HE has also made multiple editions WITHOUT any references. The user has been notified twice already and haven't stopped. Please refer back to the history section of these articles to see the horrific levels of vandalism taking place:

] (Oodweyne District) - Constant vandalism of this page by this user and removal of sourced references

] (Gadabuursi) - Constant vandalism of this page by this user and removal of sourced references

] (Berbera) - Constant vandalism of this page by this user and removal of sourced references

] (Sahil, Somaliland) - Constant vandalism of this page by this user and removal of sourced references

] (Somalia) - Constant vandalism of this page by this user and removal of sourced references

] (Zeila) - Constant vandalism of this page by this user and removal of sourced references

] (Issa Musse) - Created an entire article without any references

] (Awdal) - Constant vandalising of this page without references

] (Borama) - Constant vandalism of this page by this user and removal of sourced references

] (Lughaya District) - Constant vandalism of this page by this user and removal of sourced references

Aqooni (talk) 00:00, 15 February 2020 (UTC)

I don't know why you expect me to do anything about it. You say that you have notified the user twice, but the notifications which you put on his user talk page were claiming that a discussion was taking place at WP:AN3 when that was not the case, and still isn't the case as WP:AN3#User:Lion Pappa reported by User:Aqooni (Result: Malformed) was malformed and you didn't respond to the admin's request to submit a properly formed report. You may wish to report at WP:ANI, but bear in mind that in such a case your own behaviour will be subject to scrutiny too. If you wish to make a report there you don't need to provide a URL like https://en.wikipedia.org/Berbera when you have correctly given the wikilink to Berbera. Also the link Lion Pappa tries to go to an article which doesn't exist; for a user the link is User:Lion Pappa. Remember also that there are various paths for WP:Dispute resolution, and that in general the first step in a content dispute is to discuss on the talk page of the article. Looking at the first few articles on your list I see no sign that either of you have made any attempt to do that. Attempts to invoke other steps in the dispute resolution processes are likely to be declined if neither of you have taken that first step. Remember also that Misplaced Pages has a strict definition of vandalism. I see also that the other user says that he has suspicions of sockpuppetry; he has not yet submitted any report for investigation, but hopefully you are aware of the policy at WP:Sock puppetry. --David Biddulph (talk) 05:11, 15 February 2020 (UTC)
I will submit a properly formed report. Thank youAqooni (talk) 07:02, 15 February 2020 (UTC)

I would like to remember to block this sock puppetry User:Aqooni be he still trying to remove and dispute issues on Misplaced Pages with his multiple accounts.

Thank you David Biddulph. Lion Pappa (talk) 10:38, 15 February 2020 (UTC)

User: David Biddulph

Hi David Biddulph! It’s nice to contact you here, the user User:Aqooni is a vandalism editor who has multiple accounts on Misplaced Pages and he is sock puppetry. As you can see the other username User: Capewearer who edited the Oodweyne District. I’m sure, He is a from the failed state of Somalia but He is imitating that he is from Awdal region in Somaliland.

David Biddulph, You are historian person who aware of in the situation of Horn of Africa and I cannot explain you the deference between Somaliland and Somalia because of you that Africa has a colonial history and has an international borders. Somaliland and Somalia were two countries whose merged in to one nation called Somali Republic in 1960 but they disunited in 1991 after the bloodshed war between between both since 1988-1991. It’s true that Somaliland is not party of United Nation Council but there many countries who recognized Somaliland as official government and thier former government since 1991.

I’m here for justice, If I had made any mistake editing on Misplaced Pages, I’am trying as I be a better editor. I will added reference/source and explanation in every article that I will editor.

Thank you David Biddulph. Lion Pappa (talk) 10:31, 15 February 2020 (UTC)

My user talk page is not the place to resolve your dispute. If you have evidence of sockpuppetry you need to raise it at WP:SPI, but without evidence you should not make the accusation. As I told User:Aqooni, for other aspects of your content dispute you need to start by discussing on the relevant article's talk page rather than edit-warring to remove sourced text. You say that you are here for justice, but Misplaced Pages is not the place for righting great wrongs. --David Biddulph (talk) 10:45, 15 February 2020 (UTC)

Notice: I have moved a report about the continuation of the dispute to Misplaced Pages:Administrators'_noticeboard/Incidents#Somalia,_Somaliland:_Lion_Pappa_reported_by_David_Biddulph, because it wasn't actioned at WP:AIV. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 15:49, 22 February 2020 (UTC)

Help & suggestion

Hello dear sir, I am new here and I don't know how to change article title even I put all of my efforts (if possible, you yourself can change it)

Please respond I am afraid of being deleted by admin. Sturdyankit (talk) 03:56, 25 February 2020 (UTC)

Sorry sir for disturbing again, But Sir, I replace all the incorrect spelled word in article content but even can't the title. I have to ask, "can this became an issue for deletion of my article". Sturdyankit (talk) 04:07, 25 February 2020 (UTC)

You had moved the article from Pratical high school to Practical high school, and I have moved it further to the correctly capitalised Practical High School (you need to be aware that Misplaced Pages page titles are case sensitive). I have added comments at the top & bottom of the AFD page as recommended at WP:EDITATAFD. I have also consolidated the reused references in the article (per WP:REFB#Same reference used more than once) to reduce the scope for confusion. There are numerous further spelling errors within the article, and also unsourced text, but those problems can hopefully be addressed if the AFD results in a decision to keep the article. As you said, you are a new editor, and it was therefore unwise for you to try to create a new article; this is one of the hardest tasks in Misplaced Pages and you would be advised to gain more experience in editing existing articles before trying to create new ones. In future if you have thoughts of creating a new article you ought to read the advice at WP:Your first article and create a draft for submission for review through the WP:Article for Creation process. --David Biddulph (talk) 08:23, 25 February 2020 (UTC)

Yoga Alliance Professionals

Hi David, I hope you are well.

Yoga Alliance Professionals (previous trading name Yoga Alliance UK) is one of the UK's accreditation bodies for yoga teachers and yoga teacher training, just as British Wheel of Yoga is. Adding them to the list of yoga accreditation bodies is not advertising, it is showcasing the different accreditation bodies available for yoga teachers. To omit them would be to misrepresent the accreditation available to yoga teachers, to undermine the qualifications of the 7,500 practising members and puts a bias in favour of BWY.

The third accreditation body in the UK is the International Yoga Network, however, this does not have the same level of members. I cannot understand the reasoning for putting both Yoga Alliance (US) and BWY (UK) in the post "Yoga Teacher Training" and not Yoga Alliance Professionals as their presence in the yoga industry is a fact. I would really appreciate you clearing this up for me, all the best. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Peucami1 (talkcontribs) 14:34, 25 February 2020 (UTC)

As you were told on your draft and on your user talk page, to demonstrate notability of a subject you need references to published reliable sources independent of the subject. One good reason for including BWY on the Yoga teacher training page is that they are the accredited national governing body. --David Biddulph (talk) 15:55, 25 February 2020 (UTC)

Hi David, thank you for getting back to me. Here are some references https://suryalila.com/become-yoga-instructor/: "There is Yoga Alliance, which is USA based and Yoga Alliance Professionals, which is UK based. They are two unique unconnected bodies, which recognise and give creditability to Yoga Teacher Training Courses", https://theyogicollective.co.uk/what-is-the-difference-between-yoga-alliance-and-yoga-alliance-professionals/: "Yoga Alliance Professionals (YAP) used to be called Yoga Alliance UK. Any yoga teacher can apply to be on their registry as long as they have completed a yoga course which falls in line with their standards. There are far fewer numbers in their registry however." https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-7685879/How-yoga-latest-MeToo-battleground-Women-fight-against-unwanted-touching.html — Preceding unsigned comment added by Peucami1 (talk The NHS website - https://www.nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/guide-to-yoga/

My user talk page is not the place for your references. If you want to get your draft accepted, the references need to be there. Note also that the Daily Mail is not accepted as a reliable source, see WP:DAILYMAIL. Reviewers will assess whether the other sources are reliable, and whether they cover the subject in enough detail to satisfy the requirement for notability. --David Biddulph (talk) 16:33, 25 February 2020 (UTC)

Thank you for letting me know David, sorry about the misplacement! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Peucami1 (talkcontribs) 16:42, 25 February 2020 (UTC)
