==Your conflict with Ghirla==
I can see that Ghirla may be at times brisque, but please try to find the way to work with that editor. I will comment more specifically at the articles' talk and I will keep those at my watchlist.

Regarding the moves, unproposes moves are generally a bad idea, but particularly inflammatory are the controversial moves made without proposal. I must admit that if I were Ghirla, I would have first proposed the move of the Ruin article from ] to ]. But please admit that there is nothing controversial in tha move. Moreover, the new name is indeed better.

As for the move of the war article you made, it was certainly controversial. I replied to you at the talk page and reverted your move until the consensus for the new name is formed. Personally, I always propose all moves except the very trivial cases, like typos or gross name impropriety.

Finally, let me say this. Your work here is really appreciated. Unlike some who come to edit war, you are writing articles and this is the best thing we all can do here. True enough, among the article writers there are people with different POVs and we are bound to work this out between us. In most cases we succeed in doing so. Only with editors who come exclusively to POV push and do so through sterile revert warring rather than article development it is impossible to compromise. That you came here to write is highly valued by everyone, including your opponents. With the good will from all sides, the differences can be worked out. Regards, --] 22:43, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

What are you doing I categroized it for you and you go and delete it. Do you not know how to categorize? If he is a Ukrainian poet then OBVIOUSLY he goes under the Category otherwise your work will be isolated and unconnected. Its like putting a book anywhere in the worlds largest library !! Ernst Stavro Blofeld 22:12, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

Sorry, that was my first article. I made a few mistakes and deleted a few things I shouldn't have. I will know now.

Babi Yar

We need to discuss the article. Repeatedly reverting changes is a violation of Misplaced Pages policy (WP:3RR), and frankly, unproductive.

Most people who come to read about Babi Yar are coming to read about the events of September 29-30, 1941. These events should be in a section by themselves.

I thought that including one name out of the tens of thousands of victims was POVish, but you made your point. Olena Teliha should stay, but not in the section on September 29-30, 1941.

Further, the paragraph I moved breaks the timeline (from 9/29/41 to 1942 and back to 9/29/41.) It was in the wrong place.

I've added a separate heading. I have not removed any of your material. You can respond on the talk page or on my user page. If you have suggestions for other ways to organize the material, let me know. Jd2718 06:56, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

I thought we were beginning to jointly make some changes. I do not know why you reverted again. I've reported your 4th revert at Misplaced Pages:Administrators' noticeboard/3RR#User:Hillock65 reported by User:jd2718 (Result:). Jd2718 08:38, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

Decline reason: Sorry the block is fair--  Glen  14:38, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

I thought the block was for 24 hours. Why is it taking longer than that?--Hillock65 14:41, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

What does it say when you try to edit?  Glen  20:07, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
Okay - that should fix it - sorry about that!  Glen  20:08, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
PS: You can thank Jd2718 for that :)

Notice in Ukrainian

The notice on the Babi Yar page ("Nakazuets'ya vsim zhidam... ") looks like it might have some translation problems Can you have a look? Thanks Jd2718 16:43, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

UA Portal

If you are interested in Ukraine-related themes, you may want to check out the Ukraine Portal, particularly the Portal:Ukraine/New article announcements and Portal:Ukraine/Ukraine-related Misplaced Pages notice board. The New article announcements board is probably the most important and the most attended one. Please don't forget to announce there the new articles you create. Adding both boards to your watchlist is probably a good idea. --Irpen 06:46, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

P.S. I announced the Ruin artice of yours already. Thanks for your contribution. --Irpen 06:46, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

En masse deletions

Please take a note that en masse deletions of edits made by others qualify as vandalism, while calling your opponent a "nationalist" and other offensive terms is incivil. You have no right to own any article in Misplaced Pages and to preclude other contributors from editing it for grammar, style, and other purposes. If your behaviour does not improve, you will find yourself blocked from editing Misplaced Pages. Best, Ghirla 17:00, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

You should be aware that your contributions are welcomed and appreciated. However, I routinely trim the articles so that they conform to WP:MOS and other guidelines. For instance, why do you revert war about the inclusion of Category:17th century into the article? Such edits need not be discussed, since they are stipulated by our policies. There can be no second opinion about them. --Ghirla 17:25, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
Notwithstanding continuing insults on your part, I commented on my edits here. --Ghirla 17:42, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
