Unused low res images

Hi Fastily,

I have recently declined a large number of your image prods. In my opinion, files that were once used in articles should be kept to preserve the integrity of the page history. I suggest that you do not nominate any more without first bottoming out the issue in a discussion somewhere. SpinningSpark 10:15, 11 May 2020 (UTC)

Hi Spinningspark. Per WP:NOTWEBHOST, bullet 2, unused files are eligible for deletion. I'm also curious how you determined whether the file(s) you untagged were previously used in page history. As far as I can tell, the majority of these were never used for anything. -FASTILY 03:52, 15 May 2020 (UTC)

Request speedy poster delete

Requesting reasons for a U5 deletion

Good afternoon I received a notification late last night that a page associated with my company, Frog Bikes, is being deleted. Could you please explain why this is the case? It is not a page that I have any control of, nobody in my company has contributed to it nor amended it for many years (in fact when I spoke to our digital marketer earlier, she didn't know there was a Wiki page on Frog Bikes) so we are not using it as a web host, nor for advertising or promotion. I believe it has been edited last in February by a couple of editors, I don't know who they are. The information on the page is factually accurate and informative to the general public, without being in any way promotional. I look forward to hearing from you. Hi. Your statement strikes me as odd. Frog Bikes exists, and I have never made any edits to the page. Perhaps you could link the user page in question? Did you receive a notification from Misplaced Pages? If so, then it could mean someone employed by and/or affiliated with your company has been editing Misplaced Pages. User page rules have conflicting info

My user page was U5'd, which I have no problem with, but did want to clarify the rules. https://en.wikipedia.org/Wikipedia:User_pages#What_may_I_have_in_my_user_pages? states "For example: a five page résumé and advertising for your band will probably be too much, a brief three sentence summary that you work in field X and have a band named Y will be fine." Given that 2 sentence summaries are being deleted, I think it's worth updating the User page doc with more up-to-date rules, so other new users don't make the same mistake. Thanks! @Neilgupta: You linked to two personal websites, one of which was a business venture. Between that and having very little history to demonstrate that you're here to help the encyclopedia and not promote your career, that's why the page was (IMO rightfully) deleted. Yup, that's totally fair! To be clear, my goal wasn't self-promotion. I made an account to fix a broken link in an article, saw my name was in red, so I read the user page docs and wrote a 2 sentence summary for it, based on what I thought was appropriate. I don't think a wikipedia user page has any value as a promotion channel (are they even indexed?) and am on board with the decision to delete it. My only reason for posting this is to suggest that the user page doc I linked above should be updated to remove/clarify the section I quoted. Neilgupta (talk) 02:45, 16 May 2020 (UTC)

Category:African Minifootball Cup

Renaissance Workshop Company

At the end, everything about the Renaissance Workshop Company has been removed in favour of the Early Music Shop in Saltaire. As usual.

Fortunately, the truth will keep being the truth independently what is stated in the wikipedia.
