== O'Hagen's Chip Conspiracy ==
Lucky 6.9, | |||
You recently deleted my post regarding the O'Hagens Chip Conspiracy. Apparently you thought it was "Patent nonsense and gibberish". Under "speedy deletion" criteria, this continues on to say "an unsalvageably incoherent page with no meaningful content. This does not include: poor writing, partisan screeds, obscene remarks, vandalism, fictional material, material not in English, badly translated material, implausible theories, or hoaxes".
I believe my post did not fit under this category, as it was incredibly coherent (English is my first language, and I learnt it well), and although the content may not have meant much to you, a select group of people did understand what I was talking about. There are no rules against creating posts that are personal and related to your own experiences.
I also believe that it fits under the category of implausible theories, which is NOT included under the "Patent nonsense and gibberish" criteria. With these thoughts to consider, I hope you will reinstate my post to its rightful position in Misplaced Pages.
Thankyou and kind regards. <small>—The preceding ] comment was added by ] (] • ]) 01:23, 23 December 2006 (UTC).</small><!-- HagermanBot Auto-Unsigned --> |

Hello! Please leave a message at the bottom of the page. Also: Please note that I do a lot of new pages patrolling. If I've deleted your work and you have a concern, I'll gladly discuss the issue. Abusive posts will be ignored and subsequently rolled back, so please keep it civil. Thanks!
Uster talk:Emudrumline
My page for Eastside Fury Percussion Ensemble was deleted. I removed the requested materials by User:Lucky 6.9 in regards to instructor bios. The remaining content is specifically for providing additional information to a subcategory of the Winter Gurad International page. See Independent World Percussion. I think I sumbitted the deletion review right?
Uster talk:AdamHealton
Hey. I guess I wasn't shocked to find that A wiki article I wrote about my music project was deleted. However, I'm not sure your grounds for destroying what I'd worked on today justifiable. You called it vandalsim, but gave no reason for doing so. I thought the point of website was to provide information and when I tried to do so this happened. Anyways, I'm not sure if this is the area where complaints are voiced but since I couldnt find any other place to do so, I figured this would work.
Why does Keep San Antonio Lame keep getting deleted?
Its a real movement. I have documented it in no less than four reliable published sources: Texas Public Radio, San Antonio Current, San Antonio Express-News and MySpace. I think this is some kind of plot to censor articles about San Antonio because of a regional prejudice. I want to know why Keep San Antonio Lame is deleted and Keep Austin Weird is allowed to stay up.
Adding this on. I really want to know why. I see no reason why KSAL is any less legitimate than Keep Austin Weird. The Keep Austin Weird page even goes so far as to describe local "weird" people. How is that more reliable?
I was originally told that KSAL was deleted because it lacked reliable sourcing. MySpace notwithstanding my other sources are public radio and two different local newspapers. Isn't that good enough?
Underground Football League (A very legitimate site) is constantly deleted
Twice now I have tried to create a page about the Underground Football League and twice you have deleted it for now apparent reason other than it being "inappropriate" everything on the site was 100% factual and legitimate, there was nothing crude or vulgar or "inappropriate" anywhere on the page and you could cross reference everything on the page with the UFL's website (which i am the creater/owner/operator of). So yeah if you could give me a real reason (as in not a vague one) and ways to keep the page from being deleted in the future that would be appreciated.
Cody Tries
I have started working on this page and you keep deleting it for some reason. It is about a movie released in 2004. You let other movies be entered on this site and I don't understand why you won't allow this one.
UFL
Perl Object-Oriented Persistence << there's a worldwide audience for that? Why hasn't this been deleted? I fail to see it's worldwide appeal and marketability. I would be curious to see the number of hits this has generated and then leaving a UFL page up for a similar amount of time and checking its hits...i think i'm just going to keep reposting my UFl site until i get banned and then i'll try wading through wikipedia's enormous sea of unnecessary red tape for an appeal. But yeah get back to me about the millions of people interested in Perl Object-Oriented Persistence.
Dreadhead deletion
According to the Misplaced Pages:Notability (people) article, one of the criteria for inclusion is a "A large fan base, fan listing or "cult" following" and "Name recognition" all of which Dreadhead has in the Indianapolis Colts community. The Dreadhead appears in the team's opening video, in the program and on the big screen as "AAA - Fan of Game," in addition to his weekly occurences on the big screen in RCA Dome. In the Indianapolis community, the Dreadhead has been recognized on countless occasions, and in his former college community of Muncie, IN. He has also appeared on several Colts Caravan promotional tour stops, recognizable as such.
Appealing Another User's Block
You have previously warned (twice) the user Jshama, and he was recently banned by Academic Challenger. One of the "vandalizing actions" was his edit of Dragostea din tei. The edit merely consisted of adding the lyrics of the song. If this was somehow inappropriate, it still does not seem to be vandilizing. . I would like to know if this block was inappropriate so that I may appeal to Academic Challenger to repeal the block. --Naruttebayo

Safiyya bint Huyayy
Thanks Lucky, (i had a name change) I'm in talks with him, hope to restore it soon. In the meantime can I request your input to the Safiyya bint Huyayy article. Please read the talk page on the current edit war issue. Safiyya was a jewish girl who was taken by Mohammad as a concubine. You can read the article and it tells you the story in all the bloody detail black on white, yet when I put on the lead paragraph that she was a concubine it was reverted by another editor a number of times, and this has gone on. Please comment on the talk page there. FrummerThanThou 07:04, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

lucky...i got the information and the essay from the philosophical source...ie 'messenger' or speaker for the movement The Fellowship of Fortuna. The speaker created this philosophy Better Than. It is new, so i don't believe it would be widely referenced except on the fellowship of fortuna site which i liked to. i received the essay (unpublished) from the source himself. what do you suggest here? i think it is an important philosophy and the background, i believe is important too.

Islamic Extremist Terrorism
I wonder do you even check the integrity of the sources which are being refered in the above mentioned article? In the category of Further Reading, where does this highly controversial person comes called Rober Spencer? I know you will not agree. But just look at the wiki article jihad and look at the contents of jihad watch website. Consider my references to be my arguments (please). Have a look at this video and tell me whats wrong here? how is this media totally unreliable. The same thing is applied to jihad watch by comparing to the wiki article Jihad.
My key point is, why dont you consider the integrity and controversy of the sources being refered?
Your arguments are welcomed. But I just want to make you see few references in comparison. VirtualEye 08:01, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

Been Thinking About A Page
I've asked an admin on this already and he was unsure but said "maybe" on it, so I'd like another admin's opinion. I'm considering making an article for a small ghost town in Colorado. Emphasis on small. I can't find it in an atlas. I've googled the town and most of the google hits are from the movie Red Dawn that was filmed there. I did find coordinates of the place and at least one or two places listing it as a mining town in the past. The town is Calumet, Colorado if you wish to do the search yourself. My question is, if I have the coordinates, list the source, note the movie, and find some reliable reference of it being a mining town it'll still be a stubby article. Would it be a notable article? -WarthogDemon 07:07, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

Considering Making Some Articles Into Redirects
The other day I decided to have the article Lynn Harless deleted, as I didn't have as much info on her as I though. (Originally I thought she was a band member, but after finding I was incorrect I had nothing more to say other than her managing of bands and her being Justin Timberlake's mom.) And now I'm wondering if I should change these four people into redirects:
I'm considering this because they seem to be two stubby. (However the other two members have more of a history than just being in Innosense.) Not sure if I should keep them as is or go along with that. Part of this is because of a nasty vandal incidence, so I'm a bit biased, so I'd like to know what you think. :) -WarthogDemon 02:55, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

Image:PKZ1200-450.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:PKZ1200-450.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Misplaced Pages articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add
{{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Chowbok ☠ 16:48, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

Can you please do somethiing about this user? It seems like they've only created useless nonsense and is trying to defend two articles s/he made with No sources. Although I admit I did use the 'spam' tag on them, I think it was effective in getting the point through that they are basically articles that are going to get deleted anyway. He made a page for slang that NO ONE in the world uses, only his school, which should have been merged with his school anyway.

I'm sure you get a lot of that as an Admin, I think I really needed that because I thought there would be no Justice to that. Until my dreams come true and there is a Template:Db-crap tag, I guess db-vandalism and db-nonsense will have to fill the gap.

Wikiproject Automobiles Notification
Hi Lucky 6.9, you were on the list of members at WikiProject Automobiles and we are introducing a new way of listing members, as the old list was becoming too long. Our new method involves having all of our members in a category.
To add yourself to the category just add the userbox to your user page by putting {{Wiki Auto Project}} where you want the userbox. Alternatively if you don't like the userbox you can add ] to your userpage.
If you no longer wish to be a member of the project, simply don't add the userbox or category, there's no pressure. Thanks for your time, James086 04:09, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
- Both, as in adding the category and the userbox? You don't need to. Just putting the userbox automatically adds you to the category! James086 10:07, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

Image:Optigan35011.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Optigan35011.gif.
{{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
Thank you. —Angr 16:27, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

He is a real person worthy of a page. If you have a valid reason for repeatedly deleting it, please give it to me rather than constantly removing what I post. kthanksbye Nbruschi 02:32, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
Sorry about the reverts, I did not see what you wrote on my page until just now. Now that there is an article page I will work on expanding it. Thanks for your help and sorry for the trouble. Nbruschi 02:59, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
sorry again for the confusion. Nbruschi 03:17, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
From Rhthpr
so why can't that sentence be the start of an article? Other people who are knowledgable or currently researching can add to it Rhthpr
- One more thing... you or your bot deleted my first question on your talk page, so why can't I blank out my own talk page? Rhthpr 08:30, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

Not A Problem Helping Out
FYI, one evening I had the idea to check your logs for any articles that get recreated, and retag them. I was pratically editing non-stop for about 20 minutes. Needless to say, I have a small idea of the chaos you have to deal with. Continue with the good work as well! *Salutes.* :) -WarthogDemon 08:43, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
Dominic Janes
An editor has asked for a deletion review of Dominic Janes. Since you closed the deletion discussion for (or speedy-deleted) this article, you might want to participate in the deletion review. Generally, I hod noticed that it was deleted and protected and figured that I should find a suitable article or stub to go in its place. Cheers! ~ PHDrillSergeant...§ 18:17, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
My Kung-Fu Sweetheart (film)
I was just checking and tidying a new article, when I found upon saving that you'd deleted it without explanation. I've recreated it pending some sort of reason. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 23:26, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
- But it didn't lack content; it said that it was a film made in Hong Kong, gave its year of production, the director, the cast, a link to IMDb, and a stub. You deleted it within five minutes of its initial created; as the criteria for speedy deleteion advise, contributors should be given time (and, for courtesy's sake, a message of explanation). It's not as is it was clearly added in bad faith. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 23:34, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
- You not only deleted the original article far too hastily, you then deleted my edited recreation without contacting me. The former is discourtesy towards the original contributor, and a great way to put people off from contributing; the latter was discourtesy towards me. Deleting my messages from your Talk page isn't a good sign either. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 23:37, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
OK, and I should calm down too. But the lack of one sort of content isn't a complete lack of content, and certainly doesn't qualify under the meaning of the Act. It worries me that people are adding articles in good faith, only to see them disappear with no explanation; it's not good for Misplaced Pages. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 23:41, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for your message; sorry not to have replied immediately — I realised that I was tired and ired, and needed to go to bed. I'll keep an eye on the article, as well as doing a little digging myself. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 10:05, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

Bushey Museum page
This page was deleted because of apparent copyright violation. Can you please restore it? The original text it was based on was mine and has in fact been added to and extended for Wipipedia. There is no issue regarding copyright and the text which is purely information may be freely used any any other person or organization and is fully licensable through Misplaced Pages/GFDL. Tiny articles...
Dear Lucky 6.9,
Some one should atleast start an article. Until and unless it not done the article will not gro up, If you check even "Featured articles" you can see that it all stated "very humble" way, not all of a sudden it became a big article. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kjrajesh (talk • contribs).

Leven Thumps and the Gateway to Foo
I believe you've deleted this article: Leven Thumps and the Gateway to Foo and it came up again last night. The creator has made other contributions that do not appear to be copyvios, and this person has told me that this isn't a copyvio and has even expanded it after I suggested he/she do so. I'm assuming good faith in that he's not copying anymore; I can't seem to find that it is a copyvio, but I'd just like to check with you. -WarthogDemon 01:20, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
You stated I shouldn't post advertising to Misplaced Pages.
Can you elaborate on that for me? What did I do that was advertising? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jsmallz (talk • contribs) 02:12, 22 December 2006 (UTC).
Pacific UV
I notice that you deleted my Pacific UV stub, which was admittedly a work in progress. I'll be reposting it, a bit more fleshed out. If you have a problem with this, let me know now and we can discuss. Merwin9999

Sparisi1122
I shortened your block on User:Sparisi1122 because when I checked, I found a number of good contributions from this user. It is clear that the user was vandalising and so a block was definitely called for. It is not my intention to wheel-war with you, however. If you feel my actions were inappropriate, please discuss this with me on my user discussion page. Thanks, have a good day. --Yamla 16:32, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
Mediation
Mediation has been requested regarding your edits; the case is Misplaced Pages:Mediation Cabal/Cases/User:Lucky 6.9 reverting his own Talk page. I just signed up as a mediator - would you accept me? Thanks, — Sebastian 21:52, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you for your reply on my talk page. I would like to see your statement on the mediation page. You are free to write it on the talk page, or, if you accept me as the mediator, I can work it into the "What's going on?" section. If you would rather have a different mediator, please let me know (per wiki or email) so we can find someone else. Thank you for your cooperation. — Sebastian 01:23, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
Deleting complaint
I see you deleted a complaint I made about deleting an article. Why was this? deleting complaints makes you look sensitive. Don't you like being questioned? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Totnesmartin (talk • contribs) 23:27, 22 December 2006 (UTC).

I Am So Confused . . .
I did have suspicions about that Case about your talk page, but thought it too immediate to just report it as a troll, so I decided to see if I should add my commentary there. I see it's been deleted and the user blocked. What exactly is going on? Oo -WarthogDemon 01:14, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
- I see. Sorry about that. Wished I decided to take action sooner. : / -WarthogDemon 01:16, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
