Charlotte high school was destroyed mostly by hurricane charley in 2004 and has failed to yet be completly demolished or any attempt at any real rebuilding has not taken place either. The school discrict hasitedly arranged for the chs students to attend pchs the rival school after the hurricane and a year later moved them into portables instead of merging the high schools they kept them seperated and have lacked much interest in changing anything since students have been placed in portables. originally the students were told the "new school" would be built by 2008 and the ruins of the old "Historic" school have still failed to been torn down or anything done to further preserve or anything at all to them. The school website is also a joke beacause mrs. smith the one who runs it has not changed or added anything to it since late last year nor has any adult figure been slightly resourceful in getting things done at all at chs. Many of the teachers at the school are qualified however the actual overall supervision of the school is ignorant of the proper methods to deal with students and isnt afraid to use force where force is uneccesary by far.
