Wang Youcai is a Chinese activist. He was in jail, but he has been released into the U.S.. He was an organiser of the China Democracy Party which was banned by the Chinese government. In December 1999 the Chinese government sentenced him to 11 years in prison for subversion. Currently he is one of the members of the Chinese Constitutional Democratic Transition Researchand one of the members of the Coordinative Service Platform of China Democracy Party .
