Little is known of Absalom's past prior to him joining the immortal mutant group known as the Externals. Absalom was able to extrude razor-sharp spines from all over his body, making him a walking pincushion. This power first manifested last century in the Old West, where Absalom was being hanged for murder. His spines manifested upon his first death, cutting him free and scaring away the townspeople. He eventually hooked up with other ExternalsIt was later revealed that Absalom was infected with the deadly disease known as the Legacy Virus. Eventually, though, he was killed by Selene as she drained all of Absalom's life-force out of his body.
