Early life

Andrew John Hurley (born May 31, 1980 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin) is most notably the drummer of the Chicago-based alternative rock band Fall Out Boy. He is the second oldest person in the band at 57, followed closely by Pete Wentz. Andy was the last member added to Fall Out Boy and he is currently considering being the first to leave Fall Out Boy. He also has a one year old child with his childhood sweet although they are not currently together.

Career

Hurley joined Fall Out Boy in 2003 after their debut album Evening Out With Your Girlfriend. Fall Out Boy is the fourth band Andy has been in with Pete Wentz. As a child, he considered himself a trouble maker who drank and did not listen to authority. He now leads a straight edge lifestyle, is a vegan as well as being a comic book and video game enthusiast. Andy drummed for the hardcore band Racetraitor. Hurley has many tattoos that cover his body including one on his chest of a heart with the word mom in the center. Andy attended UWM college in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was a triple major.
