Charlie Ray (born Charlotte Ray Rosenberg on March 8, 1992) is an American actress. She is known for her role as Rosemary Telesco in the film Little Manhattan. She also played the part of Belinda, a victim of an underage prostitution ring, in episode 8x07 of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Born in New York City, New York, she is the younger sister of filmmaker Jackson Waite of California.




Bio

Charlie was born in New York City where she currently lives with her Mother and Father. She was born as Charlotte Ray Rosenberg, but later picked up the nickname Charlie when she was studying Hip-hop in Martha`s Vineyard. Her teacher called her Charlie Booker which stuck. She started taking dance lessons at the age of 3. She currently studies Ballet, Jazz, and Hip-hop. She has beaten AnnaSophia Robb at the part of Rosemary in Little Manhattan. Little Manhattan was her first movie role. She got this role when her aunt found a classified in the newspaper advertising the casting of the movie. She took her there to audition. After many long hours of testing and a screen test with protagonist, Josh Hutcherson, she landed the part, rather than the more well-known, AnnaSophia Robb. She has brother named Jackson Waite that lives in California.
