Its main policies are to:
- Stop the New Zealand National Front
- Oppose humiliating immigration policies
- Stop Maori-bashing
On October 23rd, 2004, the New Zealand National Front led a protest in the New Zealand capitol, Wellington, to voice their support for retaining the current New Zealand Flag. In response to the march, MCA led an "Anti-Racism" march to show their contempt for the National Front. Estimates of the size of the crowd range from 800 to over 3000. A separate group calling themselves the "Scary Fairies", which one police officer labelled a "rent-a-protest crowd", engaged the National Front in a confrontation that led to violence.
