WRDC-TV is a broadcast television station based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Broadcasting on UHF channel 28, it began life in 1953 as WNAO-TV, for its owners, the Raleigh News and Observer. It was the first television station in the area. It signed off in 1959.

On November 4, 1968, the station was relaunched as WRDU-TV, an NBC affiliate, when another company bought the rights to the Channel 28 frequency. In 1977, it was purchased by Durham Life Broadcasting, who changed its call letters to WPTF to match the AM Radio station they already owned. It kept these letters until 1991, when it took on its current call letters.

Currently owned by Sinclair Broadcasting, it was an NBC affiliate until 1995, when it switched to the fledgling UPN network.
