The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. Hello, TheEagle107 I did not combine published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say.
The source I quoted was "Islamic Theology:Traditionalism and Rationalism" by B. Abrahamov ISBN - 0-7486-1102-9 . Chapter 3: Traditionalism against Rationalism Sub-Section: The Traditionalists' Criticism of the Use of Rational Methods & The Attitude towards the Kalam and the Mutakallimun.
The section clearly lists Al-Shafi'i as part of theologians of the Traditionalist ( Athari ) camp and hence why I added the reference as such along with the sub-section. The citation was simply a addendum which elaborated his opposition to Kalam. To accuse multiple times; of other editors engaging in violations without proof is quite rude; but I do hope you were unaware of the details.
