Joel Sala (born 30 October 2006) is a professional footballer who plays for Watford F.C. Academy. Born in England, he represents Albania internationally at youth level.
Club career
After spells at Chelsea development and Cambridge United academy, in 2021 Sala signed for Watford's academy, starting off at U-14 level. In 2022, Sala was offered a scholarship beginning July 2023.
International career
Sala was called up in August 2022 for Albania's under-17 side, participating in a training camp and playing an internal match against Albania under-18. He was called up a few times, even before his first participation, however injuries prevented him from joining up with them. He was invited to Albania's internal under-19 training camp, playing for Albania under-18 against the under-19 side, in April 2023.
