Pakistani Shaikh and Punjabi Sheikh or Shaikh (Template:Lang-pa) are a branch of the Shaikhs in South Asia. In Punjab, the title shaikh was migrated from Arab to South Asia, they are rich and royal people.
The Shaikh or Sheikh caste were traders anf wealthy and can be found in the Karachi, Chiniot and Rawalpindi District regions of Punjab. However, in recent years, they are involved in business and trade. The Pakstani Shaikh tribe are a wealthy and have a huge population in the Punjab and karachi. Notable people include Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad, a Pakistani politician and a businessman, and Sheikh Muhammad Moiz Ahmed, a computer scientist from Karachi Pakistan .
