The movie will be directed by Sam Raimi. While, Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, and James Franco are the confirmed returning cast members from the previous two Spider-Man movies.
From what the audience saw at the end of Spider-Man 2, Harry Osborn (James Franco) may return to be the second Green Goblin as he did in the comics. The human halves of Lizard (Dr. Curt Connors, Peter's college professor) and Man-Wolf (John Jameson, Mary Jane's fiancé) also both appeared in the second movie (Spider-Man 2).
It has been confirmed that Thomas Haden Church will be playing a villian however his character that he is protraying has not yet to be revealed to the public.
