Patchy introduces SpongeBob SquarePants B.C. A.K.A. Before Comedy. Potty states that prehistoric times were lame and the future is where it's at. A cartoon is shown with SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidward's ancestors, SpongeGar, Patar, and Squog.

During the cartoon, lightning strikes a piece of wood that sets it aflame. After, enjoying the food cooked over it, they begin to argue over who will keep the fire. Finally, the rain puts the fire out, SpongeGar and Patar apologize, but when Squog is about to hit them on the head, lightning strikes him and SpongeGar and Patar cook marshmellows over him.

After the cartoon Cavey the Caveman and the Robot Android Cyborg DX-294888 sing a song called "When Worlds Collide". The song montage features scenes from SpongeBob B.C. and SB-129. The episode ends with Patchy getting chased by a T-Rex.

Trivia/Goofs

  • Some scenes from SB-129 were used during the "When Worlds Collide" montage. This episode could be seen as a rehashing of the prehistoric scenes from said episode.
  • The fire could not have been burning underwater.
  • One of the foods SpongeGar cooks is a Krabby Patty replica made of sand.
  • Their clothes are edible when heated, but they do not burn. Patar cooked his shirt, ate it, burped back up a patch, wiped his mouth, and ate it again.
  • The original captions say Patar's name is Pathar.
  • The YTV captions say Squog's name is Squd.
  • The caveman that Patchy found and thawed out is the actor that voices Patrick.
  • When Gary gets a snail-trail on Squog's rocks it is all over the one closest to his house, but when Squog looks out the window it is all over the third one from his house.
  • Gary resembles a cross between a stegosaurus and a snail. He also can jump. This is also innacurate because dinosaurs went extinct long before there were humans.
  • Squog doesn't have a door on his house until he takes the fire to his house.
  • In original and DVD captions, SpongeGar's line "Banooga ready!" (which means "I'm ready!" (which is SpongeBob's usual line when he comes out of his house)) was referred to as "(speaking gibberish)".
  • On the DVD cover SpongeGar has two sleeves, but in the cartoon he has only one.
  • This episode has different theme and background for the end credits, unlike other episodes, excluding Christmas Who?
