Catrinel Marlon (born 1985) its a Romanian/ Italian actress, model, producer and director, She is know by her participation in films like The ideal city, Tales of Tales and La Gomera, as well as television series Un passo dal cielo, CSI and Inspector Coliandro.

As international model she its know for be the lead girl of the Fiath Abarth Campaign, Teller, Worlwind Sumer and El Palacio Del Hierro.

The same year she published an autobiography called Non Avevo Gli Occhi Azurri when tell her history for become a glorious model.

Childhood

Footsteps of her father, champion in the 400 meters hurdles Olympic, Catrinel becomes an athlete before being discovered at the age of sixteen from a local agent during a school trip to Bucharest. After six months she moves to the capital of Romania where she started her career as a model.

Career

In 2012 have the achievement to lead the success of Fiat Abarth campaign and appear in a spot of Super bowl. The same year have a guest appearance as Elisabetta in the CBS television crime procedural series CSI.

In 2015 participate in the English-Italian fantasy/horror film Tale of Tales film alongside Salma Hayek, John C Really and Toby Jones.

In 2017 she have role in the Italian film The Ploy, a thriller about the death of italian director and screenwriter Pier Paolo Passolini.

In 2018 she landed the lead role of the Romanian/Spanish movie “ The Gomera” with the Romanian star Vlad Ivanov. In this film she play the role of female fatale Gilda. The movie have an international premiere in the Cannes film festival of the same year.

In 2020 she have a participation in an Italian movie based in the novel of Alexander Dumas in the role of Zingara.

For 2022 she produce and write her own short drama film called Ossa, a drama film

In 2023 produce and directed her first film called Girasole, another drama film set in the the north of Italy.
