He serves as the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at Michigan State University (MSU), managing the university’s endowment. Zecher earned a Bachelor of Science in physics from Ohio University and completed a PhD in nuclear physics at Michigan State University in 1996.

Early Career

Zecher worked at Deloitte Consulting in New York, focusing on financial risk measurement technologies.

In 1999, he co-founded Investor Analytics, a company that provided risk advisory services for hedge funds and institutional investors, utilizing software-as-a-service technology.

Hedge Fund Leadership
