Sudden Shower (소나기) is a song recorded by South Korean actor and model Byeon Woo-seok with the name of fictional boyband Eclipse in the time slip romantic comedy television series Lovely Runner in 2024. The song was written by Sung-ho, Soo-yoon and composed by Park Soo-suk, Moon-kim. It was included on the EP and full Soundtrack album Lovely Runner Soundtrack. The digital EP album was made available for download on April 8, 2024.
Sudden Shower charted on the Billboard Global 200. The soundtrack received Melon Music Awards for Best OST,and APAN Star Awards for Best Soundtrack, as well as MAMA Awards for Favourite Global Trending Music.
Background and composition
Sudden Shower is a self-writtend and composed song by Ryu Sunjae (portrayed by Byeon Wooseok), in the time slip romantic comedy television series Lovely Runner. The song inspired by the memories of his first love, as Im Sol portrayed by Kim Hye-yoo, before he embarked on his music career. The song was originally written by Sung-ho and Soo-yoon, composed by Park Soo-suk and Moon-kim. It was included on the EP and full Soundtrack album Lovely Runner Soundtrack. The digital EP album was made available for download on April 8, 2024.
