Welcome to my WikiLab. Wiki me up and correct me if I am wrong.

Bonvenon, I consider my contributions as "me". Maybe to clarify a bit more, I'd say that I am "citizen of the world", trying to fulfill my role as an existing human by learning new things everyday. That sounds enough?! Well, if not, then keep your eyes wide open.

My name is Star Vega Electric Sound Torpedo (I don't care if you pronounce it wrong). I got 4 legs but no kids and live 27 light years away from Vega. I can be located at Manchester, UK in case you are interested to help airlines make some more money! Do you really care about my age? Well, it's 31 as of 2005!

I give much attention to that mercury-in-glass thermometer at right. I get back here so often to check my status!

I first heard about Wiki in 2003 but I only started contributing in April 2005.

Interests

I am also into the SETI@Home project (I heard that a bunch of scientists and researchers need some free space on my hard disk to analyze the data received by their telescope in Arecibo. I said "yeah, why not?!". I am still thinking that's interesting).

I used to do some magazine collage.

My other interests are web applications development (using .NET platform though thinking to shift toward some other stuff like Java).

Languages, -I mean other than programming ones-, (Speaking 4 languages and still learning Esperanto though most people don't agree, telling me it's already a dead language). In Misplaced Pages, I started translating and thinking of contributing more.

History, Politics, Online Trivia games.

Now, if you ask me about what I "hate" most, I will immediatly and surely answer "Oh, you mean TV!!! That little funny and passive box".

My first contribution

Picture of the day Cinnamon hummingbird The cinnamon hummingbird (Amazilia rutila) is a species of hummingbird in the "tribe of the emeralds", Trochilini. Currently, four regional subspecies are recognized. It is predominantly found along the Pacific western coast of Mexico and south through Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica, with some also residing in Belize and the southern Mexican states of Campeche, Quintana Roo and Yucatán. Cinnamon hummingbirds are typically found at or just slightly above sea level, often inhabiting coastal and lowland areas, as well as further inland in warmer locations in the southern parts of their range. The hummingbird has a length of approximately 9.5 to 11.5 centimetres (3.7 to 4.5 in), and on average weighs about 5 to 5.5 grams (0.18 to 0.19 oz). Its diet usually consists of food foraged from the understory to the mid-story, but it will also visit taller flowering trees. The cinnamon hummingbird feeds on nectar from a very wide variety of flowering plants and also eats insects. It is a territorial species, defending its feeding sites from intrusion by other hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies. This cinnamon hummingbird feeding from a flower in flight was photographed in Los Tarrales Natural Reserve near Patulul, Guatemala.Photograph credit: Charles J.
