It was founded in 1956 and currently has approximately 1063 pupils of whom 261 are in the Select Form.
Langley Grammar School selects its incoming students on the basis of examined ability, at age 11 by NFER 11+ examination or for Sixth Form by performance at GCSE and interview. Miss Hilda Clarke is the current headteacher of the school.
Langley Grammar School has recently sold tracts of land at the end of the former school field to fund building and restoration works compressing of, amongst others, a new teaching block of six classrooms, a sports hall, fitness siutee, multipurprose area, and astro-turf pitch. On September 11th 2006, the new Sports Hall was officially opened by the myayor of Slough. A new select form centre is currently being built and is due for completion August 2000. EVry body is very nice there but a few pople who go there to work have a bishaviour order as they mess about while the puils are trying to learn. some pupils are dumb as the teachers cant do there job.
