Note

I've protected this page to prevent its use as a soapbox by a blocked user to make personal attacks against other editors, including those with personally identifiable info. Also, the users legal threats and incitement to fabricate false evidence for use in a legal suit on his BBS bring the user block directly into WP:NLT territory. Do not unblock or unprotect without corresponding w/ the blocking admin and/or posting to AN/I first. CHAIRBOY () 17:27, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

Thanks

Hello ColScott. I noticed you removed the thread from your website, for which I thank you. I'd just like to clarify here: you are not banned, you are blocked. There is a difference, though it's not always easy to see: a block that nobody will undo is eventually a ban, so it's a difference that makes no difference at some level. Getting from here to anywhere good is going to take UN-level diplomacy though. I hope to hear from you by mail. Best, Guy (Help!) 20:13, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

I have reduced this page to semi-protection so ColScott can note some issues I believe he has with the article Don Murphy. Please don't reprotect unless there is a pressing problem with attacks, as ColScott has no other obvious way to communicate these issues. Guy (Help!) 15:37, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

I sent you a detailed email last night and one this morning and am waiting for replies. I'm not going to do anything until I get the replies because every attempt to do anything here has been met with insanity. Suffice it to say, under the federal laws governing privacy I don't believe you can HAVE a Don Murphy article here. ColScott 17:59, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
