I see no reason for List of major baseball leagues to exist other than the inherently POV claim that professional leagues in other countries are in some way on the same level as MLB. The information contained there would be a very useful addition to Professional baseball (which is hardly so long that a side page needs to be created), and I am proposing that the former be merged into this page. --Tisco 02:22, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

  • This article has its' own problems and really needs to be rewritten. The list that you suggest be moved is in no way complete. That list does not assert anything other than the fact that the leagues are the highest level of professional baseball available in those countries. Furthermore, the short introductory addresses Major League Baseball.  Long Levi  05:49, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Long levi Banned. FYI, Longlevi has just been found to be a sockpuppet of a banned user named Tecmobowl, who has used socks in the past. Accordingly, he has also been banned indefinitely. See --Epeefleche 00:34, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
