Issues to be mediated

  • Inclusion of "non-Government-backed material"
  • WP:NPOV
  • Suppression of IARC/World Health Organization study conclusion to apparently preserve activist viewpoint(s)
  • Article text clearly at odds with information in sources
  • Statements presented as factual rather than as scientific consensus and/or being attributed to their sources
  • Unnecessarily bloating section of conflicting viewpoint(s), either through attempts to thoroughly discredit them at length rather than describe them objectively, or through attempts to give undue weight to small-minority positions.

Additional issues to be mediated

  • Ad Hominem exclusion of evidence
  • Use of talk page and talk page guidelines, and Misplaced Pages as a soapbox
  • Representation of minority views in proportion to their acceptance among experts (WP:WEIGHT)
  • Suppression of relevant details, such as the identity of a Justice in a high profile lawsuit, possibly in order to mislead readers of the article.
  • Recurring accusations that every difference over content is motivated by a desire to mislead the reader or suppress information
  • In general, edits based not on accuracy or to improve the article based on Misplaced Pages's pillars. Addition of some information and suppression of other information based on seemingly fabricated objections which appear to be based on editor's own point of view and bias
  • Avoiding the use of words like "suppression", "fabricated", etc when describing good-faith content disagreements
  • Abuse of Misplaced Pages's good faith assumption policy in order to undermine WP:NPOV
