Original Research

Hello and thanks for contributing to Britney Spears. But I have noticed that you have inserted some Original Research material to the article. Such as branding several celebrities as "sluts" without providing reliable, creditable sources.

Please have a read through the 3 fundamental Misplaced Pages policies on editing articles:

As well as another very important policy that applies to Britney Spears article:

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Florida. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Misplaced Pages:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Contact me if you need assistance adding references. Thank you. Please see Misplaced Pages's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Leuko 04:38, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

Constructive contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. Please use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did, and feel free to use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do. Thank you. Leuko 04:41, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

I am the "dumbass" who removed your edit from the Florida page. As Leuko stated above in his warning to you, it was Original Research, as I noted in my edit summary when I removed it on Saturday morning. The factual portion of your post, noting the three states with greater populations, was retained. If you have questions about editing, the article history will list all of the edits made on the article, with the edit summaries and the editor's names. A moment's effort on your part would have identified who removed the information; you could have identified me and discussed the matter with me rather than leave the incivil edit summary you provided. Right now, the Florida article is semi-protected, so there are no "drive-by" IP editors vandalizing the article; all of the edits have been made by established editors. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Florida. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Please do not attack other editors, which you did here: Florida. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Misplaced Pages. -- Flyguy649 05:26, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive comments.
If you continue to make personal attacks on other people as you did at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/User:Chrishomingtang, you will be blocked for disruption. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Dreaded Walrus 06:03, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
