He is currently on loan at Norwich City F.C. from Arsenal.
Bentley is a former captain of the England under-18 team, he is a current under-21 international. He is a young Arsenal forward who was handed his debut for the club in January 2003, coming on as a substitute for Kolo Toure in the 77th minute of the 2-0 FA Cup Third Round win over Oxford United where he impressed greatly.
The striker prefers to play deep and has been compared to Dennis Bergkamp, especially having to score an audacious lob as his first goal in the Carling Cup match 4:1 win over Middlesbrough.
