To report an error you have noticed on the current main page or tomorrow's main page please add it to the appropriate section below. You can do this by pressing the button to the right of the appropriate section's heading. Also, please sign your post using four tildes (~~~~)
Note that the current date and time are in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), which may not coincide with your local time zone. The next day's featured article of the day, picture of the day, and anniversaries update at midnight (00:00) according to UTC. The current time is 18:40 on December 25, 2024 (UTC). (Update)
Once an error has been fixed, the error report will be removed from this page; please check the page's history to verify that the error has been rectified and for any other comments the administrator may have made. Lengthy discussions should not take place here. References are helpful, especially when reporting an obscure factual or grammatical error, and a suggested rewording is helpful with a stylistic complaint. The main page usually defers to supporting pages for facts.

Errors in In the news
- For the St. Pancras news item, wouldn't it be appropriate to say that the EuroStar picture was actually taken at Waterloo, not St. Pancras? --Phill Review this GA review! 09:43, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
review : I think there are some wrong text in this news about translation about language about exorcism. this word from graak language was not correct. the right word in greek is exorcismos not exorkizein.... we hope this word get correction soon. thanks from: (removed for your convenience) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.164.201.71 (talk) 17:02, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
- I removed your e-mail address so you don't get all too much spam, and you should never leave your actual e-mail here. There is nothing about exorcisms on the Main Page, or am I mistaken? --Ouro (blah blah) 17:30, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
Is saying Aqua Dots copyright infringement? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.19.15.117 (talk) 18:01, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
- No, but the product has multiple names in different markets. It is from an Australian company, and there it is known as Bindeez. This was suggested to simplify matters. --Siradia 19:29, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
- A premptive strike here - keep the number of days of the Belgian thing upto date if it isn't removed - a day has passed aready with ethe number still 150. Tourskin 06:17, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

Errors in Did you know?
- ..that Gun Hill Road in the Bronx was proposed to become the Gun Hill Crosstown Expressway?
There are no reliable sources for this, and I cannot find any. The single source I can find for the "Gun Hill Crosstown Highway" (the actual name) is /; it was simply one of many proposals that got nowhere. --NE2 08:34, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
- Two Bronx streets????? One at a time please. One at a time. —Nricardo 13:31, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

Errors in Picture of the Day/Today's featured picture
The featured picture doesn't seem to exist. Silver Sonic Shadow 00:30, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
- Please refresh your web browser. The image was renamed as Image:Stomoxys calcitrans on aloe vera.jpg. Thanks. Zzyzx11 (Talk) 00:34, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
- And the image is actually stored on the Wikimedia Commons so you do not really see it in the delete logs here on Misplaced Pages. Thanks. Zzyzx11 (Talk) 00:42, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
- Hi, Howcheng and all. I saw briefly another photo, one of a porcupine or related animal. Did you see that as well? Why? I adopted "porcupinehowcheng" as a temporary phrase for Template:User committed identity I liked it so much. -Susanlesch 10:57, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
- I can check back later. You could leave a note on my talk page I suppose (I seem to recall this page is erased frequently but don't know about this particular section really). Thank you. -Susanlesch 11:00, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
Follow-up and old items
This holding area is for items that require further follow-up (for example, a general point that needs to be raised elsewhere), or for items that haven't been dealt with but where the topic under discussion is no longer on the Main Page. The items listed here should eventually be moved to a suitable location elsewhere, such as:
- Misplaced Pages talk:Today's featured article
- Template talk:In the news
- Misplaced Pages talk:Did you know
- Misplaced Pages talk:Selected anniversaries
- Misplaced Pages talk:Picture of the day
Errors in Misplaced Pages languages
Someone should check the today's number of articles in "Misplaced Pages languages". They're not at all correct (e.g. Volapük) now has more than 100'000 articles). Pausanias 18:13, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
- Specifically, if you compare the Main Page list to m:List of Wikipedias, then తెలుగు, नेपाल भाषा, Sinugboanong Binisaya, ইমার ঠার/বিষ্ণুপ্রিয়া মণিপুরী, and Volapük are missing from the Main Page. Maybe the Main Page list isn't updated as often as m:List of Wikipedias, or vice versa. Art LaPella 04:15, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
- This was discussed a while ago. The reason the Volapük Misplaced Pages was removed was that a lot of articles there were bot-created, are stubs and not really high quality. --Ouro (blah blah) 19:06, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
