Southern New England School of Law is located in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts. It is a non-profit law school that is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
Southern New England was founded in 1981.
ABA Accreditation Status
Southern New England School of Law has applied for accreditation from the ABA. The University is committed to providing all resources towards gaining ABA approval. However, it makes no guarantees that the school will be approved by the ABA by a set time-table.
However, it is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Graduates of the law school can sit for the bar exams of Connecticut and Massachusetts.
They are also allowed to practice law in front of Federal Court of Appeal and Federal District Court of Eastern New York and Southern New York, which includes New York City.

The law school is located in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts, next to New Bedford, Massachusetts.
It is about an hours drive from Boston, Massachusetts, half hour from Providence, Rhode Island and Cape Cod. It is three and a half hours from New York City
