- If you are pissed off at something I've done, assume good faith. Most likely, whatever I did was with the best of intentions. If you decide to pitch a fit on my talk page anyway, note that I endorse WP:DGAF.
- If you're coming to ask me to review something, I may not be able to devote full attention to it as I, too, am working to bring several articles to Good and Featured status.

Go Lara Go!
I was 30 when I went back to college. 33 when I got my bachelor's. I expect I'll be around 38 or so when I finish a PhD. It CAN be done. And, if you need some help, that BS ( and future PhD) are in Statistics, which is the first cousin of math. qitaana (talk) 04:07, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks. I appreciate it. I'm for certain not majoring in math. I'm just trying not to bomb the SATs. Haha. And I definitely have respect for those that go to college later in life. I think it's more stressful. BUT!! I look like I'm in my early 20s, so maybe no one will notice. Haha. Lara❤Love 04:30, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
- Good luck! If you have math questions let me know. It was one of my favorite sujects. It is never too late to go back to school. Abridged 15:03, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
Dude,
I think you've gone mad with power. Now we can be buddies! I'm making a "Welcome to the Cabal" Template - I'll run it by you once it's done. Oh, and thanks for assuming the role of "Violent Fire-fox Nazi", someone had to do it. Stay Frosty! Dfrg_msc 05:08, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
- TRANSMISSION ENDS -
- I've been mad, both with power and without... but I'm glad it's starting to become obvious. I look forward to seeing awesome in template form. Make it look sweet in Firefox but shitty in IE... which shouldn't be hard. I'm a long-time follower of Firefoxism. I've got a flag hanging in my living room and a tattoo on my back. Viva Firefox! Now I've got to find someone to make me a sammich... Lara❤Love 13:59, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
The probation of Homeopathy and the use of Rfc's
I think edit wars are very counter productive and I will not participate in them. With that said I reverted an edit by an Ip address who seems to be opposed to having anyone address Dana's concerns about the article misrepresenting him . I think that the time for an Rfc on the block quote in question may be fast approaching. I do not intend to revert anyone else on that particular edit but I would appreciate your input pursuant to the use of Rfc's to avoid the onset of an incipient edit war : Albion moonlight (talk) 13:16, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
- As an update I would like to say that I may have spoke too soon. Another Ip address made an edit that may wind up being accepted by everyone inas much as it attempts to represent both sides. But I still wouldn't mind hearing your thoughts on the frequent use of Rfc's to avoid edit warring. Albion moonlight (talk) 13:43, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
- I'm keeping a watch on Dana and teaching him the ropes. I've initiated one RfC for him. If he feels the need to initiate another, he can come to me with his questions on how to proceed. For everyone else, you guys should already know what's up. I'm not getting embroiled in this mess any more than I already am. I've got too much going on, on-wiki and off. SSP case
Thank you, LaraLove, for your help in the IP SSP case, the edit comparison tool came in handy and contributed to the closing rationale by me. Thanks again. Regards, Rudget. 21:19, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
- Fantastic. Glad to help. :) Lara❤Love 21:35, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
James Blunt
Nice to see you around GA again :) Cheers, dihydrogen monoxide (H20) 10:18, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
- Ah, yes. Thank you. It's just give and take, tho. I've got one up, so I reviewed one. Twas not easy, I'm still not in the mood to review. Lara❤Love 15:31, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
Block shortening
Hello - in the future, could you give me a heads-up if you shorten one of my blocks? It's not a big deal, but I'd like the feedback. My concern with Mccready (talk · contribs) is that he's rationalized away every previous block as the work of "newbie admins", "overzealous chiro believers", admin abuse, etc. He's got 3 previous 3RR blocks that stuck, plus one overturned and an additional block for "wikistalking" - he's got ongoing problems. My gut feeling is that the reduction gives him more fodder for rationalizing away yet another block, and that admin-shopping with 3 successive {{unblock}} templates probably ought to be discouraged, but that's me. MastCell 21:42, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
- Replied on your talk. Lara❤Love 04:38, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- No problem. I don't mean to give you a hard time about it. Good luck with the math. :) MastCell 04:39, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
About Status bot
If you didn't already find out, Status bot is currently not operational. Just letting you know :) Compwhiz II(Contribs) 00:29, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- P.S. This might work for you! Compwhiz II(Contribs) 00:37, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
Good to see I've been proven wrong
FWIW - good to see I've been proven wrong cheers, Casliber (talk · contribs) 01:51, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks. A few have dropped by for the same reason. Much appreciated. Lara❤Love 04:57, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
Status Bot
My user and talk page has a system that works by the editor nominating once or twice per day if they are available or not - want pointers? Want me to set it up for you or do you want to work back through my pages and pinch it? Let me know - pinching is fine (I owe you for my past thievery :) )--VS 03:21, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

I don't care one way or the other about this except for one thing: where is the evidence? == Blocked ==
+ + {{SockmasterProven|evidence=Refer to User:Thatcher|period=24 hours}}
I can't find anything on RFCU or on thatcher's page. •Jim62sch• 22:30, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- I'm going to have to agree. I noticed this block, and there's nothing I dislike more than a sockpuppet, except for an admin that makes improper blocks. OrangeMarlin 22:58, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- Pardon, but why don't you ask User:Thatcher about it? —Whig (talk) 00:14, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
- Cause she blocked him. There's nothing that Thatcher has said. Very strange. OrangeMarlin 00:16, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
- Considering I've directed any questions to Thatcher, I'd suggest going and asking Thatcher rather than spew your bad faith on my talk page. You can also ask Deskana, if you feel so inclined. Lara❤Love 04:20, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Adoption
Hello, Would you like to adopt me? I am already adopted, but I would like some more adopters. I want to learn everything about wikipedia. I have learned a lot so far, but I'm always willing to learn more. --Grrrlriot (talk) 02:31, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
- I don't really have time for any new adoptees right now. I'm prepping for school, my real life is stress on crack (I'm not on crack, mind you) and I've got more than I can handle right now as it is. Feel free to ask me questions tho. Lara❤Love 04:22, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
