Welcome to Misplaced Pages. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Misplaced Pages, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to List of Keeping Up Appearances episodes, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Yes, you can remove content from your talk page.

Policy does not prohibit users from removing comments from their own talk pages, although archiving is preferred. The removal of a warning is taken as evidence that the warning has been read by the user. Deleted warnings can still be found in the page history.

Keeping Up Appearances

Hi. Thanks for the message. Firstly, disagreements of this sort should be discussed on the article's talk page to get as many as possible people involved and reach a, hopefully, binding consensus. Secondly, lists are discouraged on Misplaced Pages; if it will work in prose then that is how it should be, apparently. In any case, the information you suggested is already there in list form in the infobox. I'm sorry, this is probably not the reply you were hoping for. I have seen the user-in-question's edits before and do not always agree with them, but I think he's probably right in this case. Happy editing TINYMARK 23:10, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Keeping Up Appearances

Yes. I think the episode page (with bullet points) looks good :-) Bee Coz (talk) 00:45, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

Constructive contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, but a recent edit that you made to User:Collectonian has been reverted or removed because it was a misuse of a warning or blocking template. Please use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do, or take a look at our introduction page to learn more about contributing to the encyclopedia. Thank you. FYI, canvassing editors who are inexperienced and continuing to edit war is not going to help the ANI report. Collectonian (talk) 01:15, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
I don’t see any harm in getting second opinions. Popular opinion is in favour of the minor adjustments I’ve made to the layout, and can I remind you of committing acts of "sneaky vandalism". Edito*Magica (talk) 10:41, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
I know UpDown owns the article, but he's right about information that appears in the infobox: the information should appear in the prose as well. - Dudesleeper | Talk 14:53, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
Dudesleeper, I really don’t know what your problem is with me and comments like the above are really not called for. Just because I wish to keep the article free of trivial information and keep it correctly formatted does not mean I think I “own” the article. I have moved on from previous disagreements, and I would urge you to do rather than make comments like the above and jump to claims like your did over the tinhat comments.--UpDown (talk) 15:33, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to Misplaced Pages! Thank you for your comments, which you added in discussion at List of The Brittas Empire episodes. Please note that on Misplaced Pages, consensus is determined by discussion, not voting, and it is the quality of arguments that counts, not the number of people supporting a position. Consider reading about the deletion policy for a brief overview for the deletion process, and how we decide what to keep and what to delete. We hope you decide to stay and contribute even more. Thank you! Collectonian (talk) 15:16, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
