{{helpme}} One user keeps vandalising Feliks Koneczny can anyone do something about it?? M0RD00R 23:03, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
- I've removed the {{helpme}} for now so it stops pinging, let me check into the history, and see what can be done. — Deon555desk 23:05, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
Thanks. M0RD00R 23:06, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
- Hmm... I can only see two instances of vandalism, and they've already been warned twice. Consider using {{subst:test2}} or {{subst:test3-n|Feliks Koneczny}} if it continues (in that order) . If they continue past {{test3}}, report to AIV. — Deon555desk 23:14, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
Re: HI
Hi Mordoor, you can do the following:
- Discuss the issue on the talk page with the other users involved, calmly.
- Try Misplaced Pages:Requests for comment
- Look at Misplaced Pages:Resolving disputes
- Try Misplaced Pages:Third opinion
- Try Misplaced Pages:Wikiquette alerts though this has a backlog so may take a while, I suggest the others first.
I hope that helps! Regards, SGGH 14:51, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- You may want to ask him about it on his talk page or the article talk page as well, to try to reach a common ground. SGGH 14:57, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
He may be beliving that he is contributing helpfully (and of course I can't say that he isn't, I don't know anything about the topic) I suggest asking him to stop and involving some sort of dispute resolution while asking him to explain his edits, perhaps requesting protection for the article (I'm not sure if you can request it from me off the bat or whether you have to go through proper channels, if its the latter then I'll do it for you). Ask him to explain and you yourself must explain why you believe the edits to be unhelpful. I'll ask him too SGGH 15:36, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- I've asked him to go into more detail about his edits on the talk page, hopefully that will help :) SGGH 15:40, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- You haven't wasted my time at all.... why do you say that? Did I miss one of your questions or something? It wasn't my intention to give you a negative impression... please clarify SGGH 15:53, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
Oh I see, I understand how irritating it can be, it's just that what one user sees as unhelpful contributions another user could see as helpful with equal conviction, and it's sometimes so difficult to open a dialogue. Unfortunatly I myself don't know enough about the topic to judge in this case which user is making more helpful edits, so opening a dialogue with the other user is your best bet :) happy editing! Hey, I was going to weigh in on the article, and wanted to hear what you felt the major disagreement was. Concerning Darwinek
Hello, MORDOOR. I've been 'keeping an eye' on Darwinek in the last few months. He's been moving pages to 'non English titles' without having a discussion, first. To put it in Misplaced Pages words, isn't he being too bold? I'm just a little concerned with his apparent lack of respect for English. He could at least discuss 'major changes' before making them. GoodDay 23:59, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
- Anyways, thanks for reverting some of those Polish related articles. What's Darwinek's next move? Poland to Polska, I wunder? GoodDay 00:24, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

Re: Talk page
Hi M0RD00R,
It's okay, it was nice to have someone rational and sensible post at my page! Take a peek at Talk:City of Cracow. The editor has copied and pasted the whole thing there --- in lieu of the fact that a separate discussion is going on there. Charles 13:53, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
Hi M0RD00R,
I'm part Jewish and my family comes from Grodno (Eastern Poland then) It is very important to mention the fact that Jewish population greeted Russian forces with flowers etc. otherwise some Poles may feel that we are trying to hide something. If we keep hiding this fact it will make this source not %100 true and we don't want that. If you want I can send you some photos from Grodno of Jewish youths marching in May 1st parade etc. Please allow this change and do need delete. It is better to acknowledge this taboo. Trust me Thanks and get back to me if you want to chat about it. Jacurek —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jacurek (talk • contribs) 20:11, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
Supersessionism
Hi M0RD00R, if you read the article, you will see that it does not real with the Christian Supersessionism movement; but deals with another issue, antisemitism, in which the name Supersessionism is used differently. I believe the article was taged incorrectly, and so I changed it. If you want it dual listed that seems okay, but it definitely falls within Project Antisemitism. Perhaps my discussing the change before hand would have helped. Thanks. Kwork 13:20, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry about my heavy handedness in making the change. The reason that the article did not get attention from editors in the Antisemitism project is, because it had only the Christianity template. Because of that, how could they know the article existed? Kwork 13:56, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

Name list getting long
- Thanks for your generous offer. And I'd like to take you on it.
- I'd like each person's name separated by a bullet, with all names right next to each other.
- I'd like to do that the way its done on the antisemitism Template, that way I can cramp more names more efficiently onto the Template.
- As a matter of fact, I'd like that done with the titles to. But all breaks must come after a "year," or after a name, no matter how long.

Category:Anti-Jewish pogroms
Hello -- I just had to leave you a note, after I discovered that you've already started using the new category that I just created, Category:Anti-Jewish pogroms. What's amazing is that you somehow found it and started tagging articles just 6 minutes after I created it! Wow. I put a couple of articles and a subcategory in it, and then I checked to see how it looked -- and there were already several other articles there. I almost thought I was hallucinating or something! :) That was by far the fastest I've ever had somebody start using a brand-new category that I just created. By the way, you might also find use for the parent category for this one that I also just created, Category:Antisemitic attacks and incidents. Regards, Cgingold 17:34, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for your note. That is a very important issue you point out -- you are absolutely right that clarification is needed. My view is that, while they are related (to state the obvious), they fall into two fundamentally different categories -- so for purposes of Wiki categories, attacks that take place inside Israel should not come under this heading. Also, by extension, attacks on Israeli embassies should also be excluded. What's your take on it? Cgingold 00:02, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

I still hope to bring this article to normalcy. My last attempt was derailed by a certain editor and you can read the chronicle on the article's talk. Thanks for your help and please keep this article on your watchlist. I will try to clean it up one of these days, perhaps even today, and I would expect another attack, unfortunately. --Irpen 18:39, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
- I'll keep an eye on this article from time to time. Interesting case of historiography-wiki style. I'm trying to understand how such trivial and obvious facts can be the cause of such enormous hysteria but I really can't. M0RD00R 18:51, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
- I would appreciate if you read the entire talk page to understand what has been happening there. It is a typical conflict when one tries to oppose certain editing style of certain editors. --Irpen 19:27, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
Avoiding users you have a conflict with
Looking through your contributions, an awful lot of them seem to be to articles edited by Piotrus and discussions he is involved in. This does rather give rise to the impression that are you following him around Misplaced Pages in order to annoy him, which is widely considered to be disruptive. It doesn't look great to a third party if you turn up on an article you have never previously edited only to end up in an edit war with a contributor you have a history with. If you have difficulty getting on with this user, I strongly suggest you avoid contact with them for some time. WjBscribe 19:24, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
- WJBScribe, please avoid walking around with such extremely uninformed advises no matter who asks you to interfere. --Irpen 19:26, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
- Irpen - you are well aware that my advice is worth heading. Any contributor who's edit show a narrow focus on those of another is a cause for concern. And taking a step back from involvement with users one disagrees with is always a good idea - disengagement is generally the best way to avoid situations escalating. WjBscribe 19:34, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
That the editors interested in the same set of topics often edit same articles is obvious. M0RD00R did not follow Piotrus around to admin boards, image pages or any place where Piotrus comments (like Piotrus does with my comments most of the time.) The editor edits EE articles. So am I. Anyone who edits EE articles is forced to deal with Piotrus. Sorry if this upsets you but this is how it is. I suggest you familiarize yourself with the context of the disputes before giving out the comments that are only going to make the matters worse. --Irpen 19:39, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
- Irpen, you are clearly a long term contributor to articles like Kiev Expedition (1018) - that's fine. But M0RD00R's involvement in some of those articles is recent and seem to be focused on edit warring with Piotrus, which is what I raised concerns about having looked at the recent 3RR report and looked at the particpants' other edits. I've voiced no opinion about which version of that article is preferable - merely raised a more general concern about patterns of editing. WjBscribe 19:44, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
- If someone tells you that M0RD00R's focus on Misplaced Pages is "edit warring with Piotrus", someone has done so for his own reason. M0RD00R has been active in a whole bunch of EE topics and his edits are meaningful, useful and supplied with talk page comments. His involvement has been very helpful and I would appreciate if you familiarize yourself with issues before expressing any "general concerns". It would also be helpful that all the communication regarding this is held in plain view but I know that this is too much to ask for. Sadly. --Irpen 19:51, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
- Now you seem to determined to assume bad faith on my part - if this discussion is not "in plain view" I don't know what is. There is no conspiracy here and assuming one just because we have formed different views of the situation strikes me as rather odd. In any event, I have no interest in engaging in further speculation. I have expressed an opinion on the matter - if M0RD00R decides to disregrard my advice and continue to focus his edits here on the activities on another editor, the matter may need further review. WjBscribe 19:58, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
- Where did I say anything about "faith" at all? Also, this oft-mis-cited guideline is worth a reading by those who use it left and right. --Irpen 20:11, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
Oh, I just review report on newest user:Piotrus "contributions" I was surprised to see such WJBscribe comment. While I admire neutral contributors involvement in different cases I feel that in this case WJBscribe was misguided. Lets see this so called persecution of Piotrus by simple analysis of recent user:M0RD00Rs edits, apart from Kiev we will notice deletion request Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Operation Wilno. Variuos contributors raised doubts over usage of this name; so called Operation Wilno is the former name of Vilna offensive, in Vilna offensive article this particular contributor made input which I am familiar with around 2007-05 followed with successive comments and edits. So in my view it is natural that correlated articles attracts interest. Next, article Bench ghetto crated by the same contributor and who comes to help soon ? So there is this so called slaking in oder to annoy him. And the main problem is - that not M0RD00R violated 3RR but contrary, Piotrus did. It is evident. Sadly Piotrus choose to advocating for actions against his opponent rather to apologize for his obvious mistake by violating 3RR rule.M.K. 20:43, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

AfD nomination of List of eruvin
I have nominated List of eruvin, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Misplaced Pages's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/List of eruvin. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Bstone (talk) 11:55, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- Hi M0RD00R: I have placed a complaint with User Bstone (talk · contribs) at User talk:Bstone#List of eruvin as a second nomination that List of eruvin was once nominated for deletion at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/List of communities with eruv, if he would have looked on the talk page he would have seen the notice: "This article was nominated for deletion on July 3, 2007. The result of the discussion was Keep." Therefore his current re-nomination of the article for deletion at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/List of eruvin should have noted this as a "second nomination" such as Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/List of eruvin (second nomination) or perhaps Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/List of communities with eruv (second nomination) and not the way he did it. Thank you for also listing it at Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Judaism, and in spite of the fact that Bstone has consistently nominated Judaic articles for deletion he has refused my polite requests that he also place a notification at Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Judaism whenever he does so. In 1903, as you may know, this entity was respoinsible for The Protocols - I like to call them by their Russian acronymic transliteration, PSM - first so the light of day. So I'm insisting on incorporating this fact into the above article. By the way, a Steven Anderson (nice fello) quoted the anticanvassing policy to me. But that requires multiple contacts, and your the Only one on this I'm contacting. Also, please feel free to edit as you see fit. I am not telling you which way you should go (with me or against me - that's all up to you). --Ludvikus (talk) 14:55, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
