Requests for IP check

This page lists requests to identify and block the IP addresses behind attack and vandal accounts that were previously listed at Requests for checkuser/IP check. After the account has been reported as blocked or declined by the checkusers, the report is moved here for seven days (most recent sections at the bottom), after which it is deleted. Because there is no attempt to establish a relationship with a puppetmaster account, no separate archive is kept, other than the page history.

Clerks: when clearing this page, please make note of the names of the sections you are deleting in the edit summary.

All pretty obvious sockpuppets, but curious if there's more or if an IP block might be possible. They seem to make a habit of registering, immediately bluelinking their user and/or talk pages with one-character edits, and then adding a link to zipwho.com (either in the external links section or in an article's lead, sometimes using it as a source). Just caught one, tonight, but I see that this has been ongoing for around a month, now. Every sock listed here is already blocked and reverted. – Luna Santin (talk) 07:04, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Avril Vandals

These accounts (and others) apparently really like our article on Avril Lavigne, so much that they plaster annoying Avril stuff on high-use templates, especially those that are used on the Help Desk, Reference Desks, and Admin Noticeboards. Heyj00 at Montessori School of Westfield

These are the most recent suspected sockpuppets of User:Heyj00, and are involved in ongoing vandalism at Montessori School of Westfield, whenever it is unprotected, since March 2008. I would like to see if there is an underlying IP that can be blocked. The IP listed appears to be the same user, editing in the middle of the latest spate. Kevin (talk) 00:23, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
