Goods made in China typically bear the mark "Made in China" or "Made in PRC". These marks are becoming increasingly ubiquitous as the popularity of outsourcing in manufacturing increases.
There are good and bad points to this approach: the costs of the finished product are cheaper because the labour in China is very cheap which means the manufacturer can produce products much cheaper and pass on these savings to the consumer. Unfortunately jobs in richer countries are lost because the manufacturer relocates the jobs from these countries to China. The quality of Chinese-made goods is merely for entry-level goods rather than epensive high-quality items.
