Welcome to Misplaced Pages. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Misplaced Pages, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Raven-Symoné, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --Bongwarrior (talk) 06:05, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing, such as the edit you made to Raven-Symoné. If your vandalism continues, you will be blocked from editing Misplaced Pages. Kww (talk) 18:31, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

I apologize but do not understand why you consider this "disruptive" or "vandalism." Raven-Symoné is a very famous celebrity and entertainer who openly discusses her recent problems with her weight. The addition of her name and a brief description of her best work to the "Plus-Sized Entertainers" page (to me at least) does not seem inappropriate. She is a very successful young woman who has embraced her self-image, serving as a role model to young females that may struggle with such issues. Is this not the epitome of a plus-sized entertainer? If someone has struggled with but overcome problems like she has, I don't see why that doesn't belong. Her main page also has some discussion others have had about this. A fact is a fact.

Well, let's see: Your latest edit was made to appear as if it had a reference, but the reference is to a dead website that cannot be verified. Describing her character as gigantic certainly isn't respectful language, and she isn't a model. Only one of your edits even approaches being acceptable, and it seems a little odd that discussions of her weight is the only thing you have been interested in adding to Misplaced Pages.

I see your point. I am new to Misplaced Pages, which is why my history is limited so far. But as a person who studies Gender Roles, Perceptions, and Self-Image, and one who has overcome personal struggles with weight, the issue is important to me. But if you feel my edits are not constructive, I will refrain from making any more changes. I did not realize the Misplaced Pages is heavily censored, but it is good to know that now; I will keep that in mind when consulting pages in the future. I apologize for your inconvenience. Oh, and I know she is not a "model," but she was included (tastefully, in my opinion) under the heading "celebrity/entertainer," which is more fitting. Just FYI. Sorry again for your troubles - I will no longer make any edits to the Misplaced Pages.
Did you think that undoing that signature from when you were logged out would make it less obvious that you were responsible for the similar vandalism perpetrated by 72.218.42.26 (talkcontribsdeleted contribsWHOISRDNStraceRBLshttpblock userblock log)? Slim chance of that.
