Charter Communications NasdaqCHTR is a company providing cable television, HDTV, cable telephone and broadband services to many cities in the United States of America. They are particularly known for their extremely low level of customer service, among the worst in the telecommunications industry, and for employing criminals. Several Charter executives were convicted in 2003 of a scheme to defraud their own investors.
