Réseau de Résistance du Québecois (RRQ) is an organisation working for the independence of Québec
History
Created by young nationalists, the RRQ is a militant organization launched by the newspaper Le Québécois.
In January 2008, the Réseau de Résistance du Québecois launched a campaign against Québec City’s 400th anniversary celebrations and accused the organizers of being revisionist and corrupt by Federalists.
In 2009, the RRQ launched a major campaign against the Combat reenactment of the Battle of the Plains of Abraham, a important battle of the French and Indian war. The RRQ played a major role in the cancellation of the reenactment.
