Anushka Shetty (Tulu:ಅನುಷ್ಕ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ) is an actress in the Tollywood and Kollywood industries. She debuted in Nagarjuna's Super, and her debut film in Tamil was Rendu with R. Madhavan. She was turned down the role of the 'Bond Girl', after which she was signed on as the brand ambassador for Fevicol.
Personal life
Shetty did her schooling and college in Bangalore. She was born in Mangalore, and her mother tongue is Tulu. After completing graduation in Computer Applications(BCA), she was not interested in pursuing a career software industry and instead wanted to get into the fitness world. Then she became a yoga instructor. Puri Jagannadh happened to see Anushka through another director and she got selected for Super. 2008 has two hits with Chintakayala Ravi & Souryam in her bag and she started 2009 with a mega hit film Arundhati (film). Currently Anuska is acting with Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay in Vettaikkaran.
