Juan Valdés Figueroa is a Cuban diplomat and is the current Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to the Russian Federation.

Valdés previously worked in the International Relations Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba.

He was appointed by the Council of State of Cuba as the Ambassador of Cuba to Russia on 13 August 2008, and presented his Letter of Credence to President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev on 16 January 2009.
