Townshend Acts

In 1767, the British Parliament passed a new set of laws called the Townshend Acts. These laws places a tax on common products, such as paper, paint, glass, and tea. This later led to the Boston Tea Party.--DevINE 18:56, 28 Apr 2004 (UTC)
