Omar S. Amanat is a businessman and entrepreneur who founded Tradescape, a brokerage and technology firm that on its peak trading day is reported to have processed 7% of NASDAQ's daily trading volume, and was named one of the "Top 100 Companies in the United States" by the Red Herring magazine in 2001.
