I've severely cut the article because much of it was discussing the characteristics of each ethnic group, rather than their origins. Most of these categories actually have very little information about how they arrived in Burma, beyond a passing reference to the British colonial rule. If someone has more or better information please do add it. — e. ripley\ 16:09, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
