You are welcome to request unblocking, per the instructions I left for you, to have another administrator review your case. I don't feel too strongly about this, so if another editor wishes to unblock that account, I would not oppose it. That said, I only blocked that username, and as you already have, you were welcome to create another account. You can post as much information (or little) about yourself on your userpage, so you are welcome to identify your company affiliations there. As group accounts are prohibited, and company named accounts are not recommended, I'd encourage you to keep this name instead. But if you'd prefer the other name, ask for an independent admin to review the case through the unblock process. Also, have you had a chance to read the links regarding conflicts of interest, as it is also discouraged to edit pages for companies you own/work for. Thanks.-Andrew c 17:20, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
Spoilers & air-brakes
I am currently instructing in the Pyrennees so will not have access to my reference books until next weeks. I agree that my edit was sloppy and I have tried to amend it to your liking. What I would like to check is how much drag a spoiler produces. The difference may just be a matter of degree, because in the end any vertical surface that is either hinged or that emerges from slots in the wing will reduce lift and increase drag to some extent. Feel free to change what I have written. I try to be open-minded about anyone else´s edits. PS I also have over 2,000 hours. JMcC (talk) 10:10, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for the contribution. I have made some changes in wording, and I hope you agree with these. Essentially it is how you left it. Where do you fly from? I guess the USA. I am a member of Lasham Gliding Society. JMcC (talk) 20:48, 22 March 2009 (UTC)

- Ah, okay then. The fact that you did not attribute it to "myself" or "own work by uploader" made me think that David Lippincott was a person other than yourself. Thanks, — neuro 17:39, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:SBC-Components.jpg
A tag has been placed on File:SBC-Components.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines.
